Homosexuality: Chosen or Genetic?

wow yeah after reading through all these messages it kinda makes me sad for the human race =\
The way you guys are determing how someone willl be gay just by having say testes in their vagina or something and like cutting hair just like WTF O_O
And the whole circumsicion gone wrong thing...wow I was circumsized. Nothing went wrong and hey look how I turned out anyway. I know you're not saying all them turn out that way but still Ive never heard of something like that going wrong and someone wanted a sex change. Think we could get some more info on your sources there. Maybe a website or two. So we know a little more on waht you're saying.

Myself and sith pretty much shot down all of your arguments several pages ago. We've done so multiple times. The only reason why you guys continue to post now is to cover up the fact that each one of your arguments has been completely decimated. On a scientific level, as well as a common sense level.

I just recently started coming in this thread.

And that 11 yr. old girl you're referring to was something I brought up about a show I watched on television. Not real. And the girl didn't get a sex change.

Personally, I believe you have an excellent point. Many of those who focus on issues such as homosexuality and sexual sin..are very hesistant to offer help, however, all too willing to offer condemnation. I myself have been guilty of acting this way on many occassions, particularly within this thread. When in truth, homosexuality is no different than any other sin, whether a person be a liar, murderer, slanderer, gossiper etc. All of us have been inherently condemned for our sinfil behavior since birth.

However, I believe if you truly examine some of my posts introspectively, you might find just a pinch of of wisdom in them amongst the many smilies and jokes..😉

The only way a straight person (mainly homophobes will find out the truth) Is if they are gay...Yeah I am sure of that...Kinda reminds me of the womans rights and African American rights protests.

But hey I am a gay guy...I didn't one day just say "Hey I want to be gay tomorrow"...I have an attraction towards the same sex (so what) Do you see me going "Ohhhh a man and a woman can't have sex!" Yeah right. Education is what this world needs.........I know I am not going to hell for being gay, Just because someone wrote it in a book doesn't mean it is true, I was kicked out of my church for being gay (Does that sound right to me) AND I thought that Christians do not judge (Oh and that is a sin too)

Yep, the only way someone like him would know what it;s like to be gay as if he were gay himself.

He (Jesus) died for everybody, not just straight people.(see my post in the NALMBA thread.)

I still find it hard to believe that people are born gay, becuase of a gay gene or something,.... but what happened to you was inexcusable.

We are supposed to love. But we are not supposed to accept everything that's thrown our way. That's where I'm going to have to concur with you Sith. "Love" isn't just about having people like you..or about coming to an "agreement" with people who you know are saying things that are obviously misguided and deluded. It's about telling people what's right..even though you know they won't like you, or what you have to say.

I'd rather have a person curse at me a hundred times, to keep me going down the right path, than to have someone tell me all the things I wanted to hear, and have me go down the wrong one. As Jesus showed us..love is about suffering, pain, and anguish..just as much so..if not more so than that "touchy - feely" stuff that you see in the movies.

In the end people will ultimately choose what they want to do for themselves..but when that final day comes..and we all stand in judgement before God, at least I'll know what my intentions were..and in the end the "intentions" of my heart are all that will matter, not anything that I may think that I've accomplished in man's eyes.

You find it hard to believe that people are born gay because you are religious. Religious people share the same opinion.
