Does a heterosexual choose to be attracted to the opposite sex? No.Why would it be any different for homosexuals? Sure there maybe some people who for one reason or another, choose, but I don't know of any, do you?,
This is what I don't understand. People keep saying that gays chose to be that way, but if gays chose to be gay, straights people must chose to be straight, and must also chose to be attracted to members of the opposite sex, and it just doesn't work that way.

Gay people don't inherit the gene to like the same sex from their parents so in that sense, it's not genetic at all. If they can't help being attracted to the same sex, then I suppose it is "genetic" in those terms. I tend to lean more towards it being chosen, however. I mean, it's their choice and nobody elses. Nobody is forcing them to be homosexual. It's like whether or not you like grapes or not. Some people naturally do not like them, and that's their preference. Others do like grapes. Regardless, they did not inherit a gene for enjoying grapes or not. The attraction is genetic, but overall, it is a chosen lifestyle.

So God DID make me gay. Lets blame God then, instead of trying to convert all the pesky homosexuals into becoming God's perfect little children.
When did I take this stance? I agree that God did make you gay, but, as with all things, He had a reason.

I'm pathetic and have nothing to add to this thread. However, I'll insult FeceMan in an attempt to make myself look witty. In truth, though, I'm simply a hypocritical tool who condemns Christians for being close-minded but then turns around and does the exact same thing. I also condemn all of them for the actions of a few.But I'm a better person than any Christian. Smarter, too.
what is homosexuality anyway? its an experience, thats all it is, a way of expressing love for another human being, another aspect of ourselves.
why is it when two men or women loving each other deeply and sexually is considered a moral outrage, while a man and a woman hating each other and living together in a marriage they are both too frightened to end, is considered acceptable?
