what is homosexuality anyway? its an experience, thats all it is, a way of expressing love for another human being, another aspect of ourselves.
why is it when two men or women loving each other deeply and sexually is considered a moral outrage, while a man and a woman hating each other and living together in a marriage they are both too frightened to end, is considered acceptable?
That's a good observation.
It is, after all, all about the children.

Deano, that is a very enlightened point of view. I wish more people felt that way.
Yes, in a world filled with hate, why do we limit how people love.

I tend to lean more towards it being chosen, however. I mean, it's their choice and nobody elses. Nobody is forcing them to be homosexual. It's like whether or not you like grapes or not. Some people naturally do not like them, and that's their preference. Others do like grapes. Regardless, they did not inherit a gene for enjoying grapes or not. The attraction is genetic, but overall, it is a chosen lifestyle.
The last statement is correct. People do not chose who they are attracted to, but they do chose who they are in a relationship with. People who chose to be in a relationship with someone of the same sex didn't chose to be attracted to that person, they did, however, choose to share their life with that person.

To make it seem as if we all chose our sexuality. They do it to stir up trouble.
Funny how you chose for yourself who's telling the truth to make your opinions seem true.
The thing is, you don't get to decide that.

Being dumb is similar.
is it comprehensible.....

Yes. No one chooses to be gay, same as no one chooses to be straight.

Maybe it's a choice either way. It could be on some deeper level of the mind however. We may not say " I am going to homosexual from now on." It could occur on the level as choosing friends. We don't outright say what group of people we like to associate with, but that doesn't mean it's not a choice. A very subtle, almost unconscious choice but that is still a choice.

I gotta give it to Kdog, that post of Deano's sounded very gay. 😆
no it sounded reasonable. are you that homophobic?
this is the kinda attidude that keeps people trapped in the box and consumed by fear in every fibre of our being. if i was gay, which im not but i certainly wouldnt be afraid to admit it either. ive learned to grow up.
its obvious you are not mature enough yet.
so my message to anyone who isnt ''normal''.
dont come to kmc forums. actually, dont partake in society at all.
cheers for proving how easy it is for the few to control the many.

To make the rest of the gay population look as if they too chose to be gay.
Indeed?
So Willie, the friend of my father-in-law, (who I have posted about before)who was gay for 20 years and turned to God and was "released from the homosexual lifestyle" (his words) was trying to do that?
He was gay to stir up trouble?
Not because of his circumstances, or environment?
Not because he was a young man in West L.A., who grew up with gangs and drugs, and was beaten badly several times?
Not because he felt un-masculine? Not because of those things?
Or my old manager, Anne(who I have also posted about before) who you said must be a bisexual.
She was in a marriage to a man, a cop, who beat her and cheated on her. She had a son with him.
After many years of physical, mental, and emotional abuse, she decided to find a woman who could treat her better. (She has said to my face that she believes all men are inherently chauvenistic).
She still likes men,and checks out the physical bodies of guys that come into her store.
She has said( again to my face) that she chooses the gay lifestyle because she likes it better.
But she has no agenda to make other gay people appear the way she does.
She has said (again, straight to my face) that she could give a crap about the gay movement, that she is just living her life.
She doesn't broadcast these things or put them on display. (I asked her these things while employed there,... kinda stupid, huh?)
She has no desire to make anyone look like they chose anything, nor does she talk about other gay people, in a good or bad way.
She just chooses to be gay.
A side question:
Anne thinks that all men are inherently chauvenistic, do you agree?
Why or why not?
If not, (if men are both good and bad, and made that way by choices/environment).... then how are all gay people inherently gay?
