So, it is good to see a person who isn't Whob, and who seems to have a good understanding of the subject.

It could still be a whob...

It may be some kind of clever whob pla... oh silly me.. I just put clever and whob in the same sentence... I must be tired...

Yes, a shocking slip there. Still, we must have some hope, there must be at least one other non Whob in the world...

Though now that I think about it Agent Smith comes to mind, copying over people, what a terrible way to end up, nothing but a Whob sock.

The same thing comes to my mind... except instead of Hugo Weaving playing Agent Smith it's Gary Coleman... and frankly a world where Gary Coleman can find acting jobs is frankly much, much more frightening than living in the Matrix.

to me its like this-some choose to be homosexuals, they divert their sexual orientation to what they want. and there are others who are born with the wrong hormonal mix-theirs is genetic.

That's ignorant. Picking and choosing is no choice at all

Then what would determine which random category you fall in.

And its not a "wrong" hormonal mix.

I wish courts would stand up for civil rights like they did in ending segregation in the US.

People are born with sexual preferences. Gay, Straight, Bi...it doesnt matter. You were born to like what you like. Plain and simple. It doesnt make any sense to become gay or bi just becuase its "trendy". That would mean that you are sleeping with a gender that you arent even attracted to. Now who would do that?

Its a choice in my opinion.

An oppinion based on some sort of fact? Or is it more the "The sky is made of lemonade in my opinion" kind of situation?

i think its a preference and it really doesn't matter if you're born that way or if you chose it.

I can't explain why, but what I do know is this - balls taste FAB-U-LOUS!

1) How do you divert your sexual orientation to what you want? That's a contradiction in itself.

You don't choose your desires, so HOW the hell can you choose what you WANT to WANT?

Sexual Orientation is all about your sexual desires..you don't choose em, your answer makes no sense, and you just seem like an idiot in this post.

2) Wrong Hormonal Mix? What do you mean by "wrong"? Homosexuality is common in animals, so don't even bother saying "oh i mean unnatural, hee hee" Wrong in a religious point of view? Religion is bias already and has solved nothing for centuries, so its "truth" leaves much to be questioned.

I think your idea of "wrong" hormones comes from your own personal bias, hence defining your opinion as factually INVALID

Come back when you have some facts to back up your stance !

I believe many factors can lead someone to the homosexual lifestyle. It's definitely not genetic. There has no been any evidence that it is genetic. Not only that there have been people who were once homosexual and eventually left that lifestyle.

The proof? Show me any peer reviewed scientific studies by scientists that say there is a gay gene? I sure haven't read any.

If homosexuality is, indeed – despite other evidence – a genetic trait, that gene would eventually be ousted from the gene pool because homosexuals tend not to reproduce. Instead, homosexuality has appeared in civilizations across time. In some parts of the world, homosexuality flourishes, but in other parts of the world, homosexuality is not present.

Additionally, if "gay"-gene theory were true, it would be next to impossible to change the lifestyle to heterosexuality. However, it is not impossible to change sexual orientations – Stephen Bennett is a great example, and so are the thousands of others who have come out of homosexuality.

you cannot conclude that your theory on choice is correct based on the lack of concrete proof of genetics, an entirely elusive field of study, especially when dealing with psychological traits based on genetics. if i have to explain that to you then there is no point in continuing this conversation.

The lack of concrete proof of the gay gene is definitely a rational warrant for belief that homosexuality is not genetic.
