Jackie Malfoy> No, we don't chose who we fall in love with. Adultery wouldn't exist if that was the case. You sound just like FE, who claims homosexuals just choose to be homosexuals and therefore it's okay to dislike them.
"Anyone who has a brain would not think that someone was born gay."
No, wrong.
Anyone who has a brain would not think that someone chose to be gay.
"Actly BF is not a good mod nor is he funny."
🙂
😄
🤣
"You have no right to call anyone's opinion stupid."
Yes, he does. Anyone has the right. Look: Your opinion is stupid. You may say that MINE is stupid as well -
Tex> Your question on whether or not the possbility of finding a gay-gene (which i sincerely doubt) would lead to the end of homosexuality is an interesting one. It depends.
I remember seeing a show on Star Trek:Next Generation, where a woman talked about the appearance of the characters. A reporter asked why Jean Luc Picard was bald, as that would surely be fixable in the future.
"Yes, it would," answered the woman." But by then no one cares."
Our fixation on genes for "this" and "that" comes from a bad understanding of them. It's rarely ONE gene that decides some trait, but rather a combination. When it comes to homosexuality, the latest I read is, that when a foetus is some 7 weeks old, its flooded with testosterone. The amount decides not the sex - that was done at conception - but the masculinity/femininity of the child later in life.
FE> No, you didn't. Saying "You just know" is not a valid answer. So... let's hear it.
Adam_Poe>As always... Well said.
