I actually asked my Theology teacher about this. He said "Yes, it's ok for God to kill because he is God." 😆
Tpt> Exactly! We’re all different. Why hate or disapprove of people who do us no harm?
It’s senseless.
“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” – Voltaire.
Look at history. This is very true indeed.
Arachnoidfreak> You’re kidding!!! So God does not obey God’s own law. HmmmmMM.

Omega: No, I'm not kidding! It was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. He said "He would not be God if he was held down by human law". I said "What? It's not human law, it's HIS law!. Even if he isn't held down by his own law, he's proven himself to be a horrible role model." He hasn't responded to me yet. I suspect he will bring up something about Jesus. 😆

These sorts of questions are a matter of belief. Rarely can a person get their mind around an infinite concept, and even then it’s only insanity filling in the gaps. These matters are best avoided by citing evidence rather than mockery. It's rather stupid to try to get into a position where neither can say anything meaningful because the concepts have foreign meanings from one to the other. If God created us, knows how we work, and knows best how to continue the world, then he could morally kill somebody to protect society. Like justice can, In America.
Of course, to protect society. Killing the first born child and calf of every Egyptian is protecting society, isn't it? Flooding the earth and killing nearly everything on the planet is protecting society...right? Burning an entire city to the ground, and turning a woman into a pillar of salt surely HAS to be protecting society.

The American justice system is ****ed up... Capitol punishment in the United States is not administered fairly. Texas alone executes more people illegally that any other industrialized country (minors, retarded people, foreign nationals without contact with their foriegn consul, etc).
Killing people in America does not protect society.
