We're saying that it's not a CHOICE. For the probably hundredth time...you CANNOT control who you fall in love with. Period.
Maybe when you're a little older and fall in love you'll understand this.
can YOU help falling in love??? oh wait ehhh lets speak again in a 10 years time and then tell me if you can choose who you fall in love with
There's no proof for either side is there? I mean if there is then why have this debate? If there's already proof that one side is correct than it wouldn't be open to interpretation anymore.
OK, "peeps", it is time for an education.Homosexuality has little to do with environmental influence. Studies have been done and it has been discovered that homosexuals and heterosexuals often have similar childhood experiences in the fields of: parental relationships, childhood sexual experiences, peer relationships, and dating experiences. Also, homosexuals who go through therapy programs via churches and the like have limited success--so, even if they desperately WANT to be heterosexual, they seem to be unable to do so.
There are also a host of biological differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals.
Brain differences.
The hypothalamic cell cluster is larger in straight men than in women and gay men (the same difference is seen in sheep showing same-sex versus other-sex attraction).
Gay men have a larger corpus callosum than women or straight men.
Genetic influences.
Shared sexual orientation is higher among identical twins than among fraternal twins.
Sexual attraction in male fruit flies can be genetically manipulated.
Prenatal hormonal influences.
Altered prenatal hormone exposure may lead to homosexuality in humans and other animals.
Men with several older brothers are more likely to be gay.
Observed homosexual-heterosexual differences in:
Spatial abilities.
Fingerprint ridge counts.
Auditory system.
Handedness.
Occupational preferences.
Relative finger lengths.
Gender noncomformity.
Age of male puberty.
Male body size.
