I think that article basically pointed out that Avril was one way when she was 14 ( like many of us were-- unless you are still 14 or whateverthen you won't know what I mean) --- and then she changed as she got older---as we all go through changes in life.as we get older....
Dont know why you think this is a funny article... just because "tool" or "maynard" isnt mentioned ... blah blah...
not a big Avril fan myself - and i did hear when she covered that SOAD song "chop suey" and it was horrible!!-- but if you were a singer -- the thing is you would probably cover a Tool song or whoever and butcher it as well... and then we could all sit here and make fun of you!
the thing she can be whoever she wants to be and for however long she wants... doesnt really matter in the long run... no one cares!...

and after reading that article on Avril i must say, she is so full of horse shit. she is as whingy as Simple Plan in that whole "mum and dad didn't buy me a pony" way, such a sad human being.
oh and in an interveiw with the person who wrote her songs (yes, she wrote that one song that DIDN'T get on the cd because it was CRAP) said thats she's credited with co-writing even though in most songs she only "suggested" a few words, indication she didn't actually use them, just suggest them, in making that crapola cd (not to mention her new crapola one)
This is seriously pathetic, I know I'm going to get yelled at but who cares. The guys of Simple Plan are really great guys. I've actually met them and had the chance to hang out with them. You shouldn't be judging and criticizing them just because of their music. Some of you may THINK they're posers...but they don't refer to themselves as punk. Everybody else puts them in it and pop and everyone gets into a huge ass fight about it. Who cares what group it's in? They are making music so that MAYBE they can entertain somebody. You can't sit their and degrade them because of the image that the press has made for them. It's not their fault that the paparazzi like f*cking up peoples lives. I think they're music is awesome and something that people can relate to. Others may have different opinions and that's great! You just don't have to be so negative about it, they are human beings with feelings too. I for one would not like to be internationally insulted. I don't care if people protest to what I think...everybody will always have unique opinions...just do some GOOD insulting. Come up with some good things to complain about, all I hear is little illegitimate things about Simple Plan and it's starting to really get on my nerves. They are putting themselves out there and trying to make something of themselves. You at least have to give them kudos for their efforts. I'm sorry if I offended anybody...just stating my opinion like everyone else has on this message board.
