ok, heres the plan. take your money. go to the cd shop. buy something good (eg. not the simple plan cd, maybe a metallica cd you dont own or a pantera cd you've lost, shit, gibe the money to a homeless person, dont blow it on a simple plan cd. or send it to me, i could put it to better use. infact, thats the new plan, this will leave me with a few extra dollars and you with the same effects as if you'd listend to the simple plan cd. send me the money. then punch yourself in the face and stick knitting needles in your ears and burst your eardrums. ta da! all done!)
I seriously can't believe you compared Simple Plan to Bad Religion. They may have good lyrics, but they need to learn how to play their instruments and how to sing. I'm sorry for criticizing, but it was really bad. Even my friend who likes ANYTHING thought it was bad and that Simple Plan was so much better. You can't understand what they are saying half the time because their instruments are drowning them out. The guy can't even sing in tune either, it was a horrible experience that I never want to reinact again! If you are going to compare...compare against something worth my time thanks.
Ok, I think I went a little over the edge with the Bad Religion thing, BUT they aren't that great. They aren't totally horrible either. They're a lot better than Britney Spears and that pop crap that doesn't even have real instruments in it. So I take back the negative things I said about Bad Religion. They sort of do drowned out the singer though, and he needs a few vocal lessons...that's all I'm saying!

you must either have not listened to the right song, listened to it through shitfull speakers or a bad stereo, or have a worse musical ear than my tone deaf cousin. your friend who likes everything is also full of shit, no one likes everything. they say things like that because they're pretentious twats who want to appear cultured. Bad Religion are more than talented musicians, and i don't know what drug your on but Greg Graffins voice is great. None of this nasally through the nose stuff that your thoughtless little simple plan whinger does. their cd Suffer set a bench mark for punk music, they are so far ahead of the pack simple plan couldn't find them with a map a torch and a sherpa leading the way. the bar was raised so high simple plan couldn't see it, let alone beat it. i cant belive people can be so musically ignorant, but then again, when your favourite band is Simple Plan you might be shocked by talentand find it hard to recognise it
Wow this has been one of the funniest threads to read! I myself do like Simple Plan. I have no idea who Bad Religion are so i can't compare them to that band. I like Metallica though. I think it was good of SiMpLePlAnLvR82 and ~AlluNeedIsLuv~ to stand their ground and not change their minds about who they like. It's their choice. But I'm not saying anything bad against slipknot, tabby999, darth etc who said they don't like them. Good on you guys for not liking them! That's great! Yeah SP do act immature and may come across as a bit 'gay' and teenybopperish but who cares? It all adds to the 'fun' of being a celebrity. But I gotta agree with Mornglory on this thread being the same thing over and over and over again! And I'm not saying SP are the best band in the world, I just like them and their music. If I'm supposedly stupid for liking them, then so be it!
