I've never heard SP sing live but I've heard that Pierre sounds more 'grown up' when singing live!?! SP are no classical band like ABBA or the Beatles, they're never gonna be but they're ok. For this music era anyway.

grown up hey...what, so he sounds like a 8 year old now, wow, he is improving...😉 and in THIS musical era (as in the late 90's through to late 00's) for real talent to shine through, theres not much to compete against

Shallow lyrics arent neccecarily a bad thing, in fact some of my fave lyrics are as shallow as an empty pool.

I hate Simple Plan, yet I can see that they are talented(ish) musicians. The singer may sound like a gerbil, but the guitar and the drums and everything on the live songs seems to match okay, and I know thats something I couldnt do. Whoever compared them to Bad Religion needs their head examining, as Bad Religion are undeniably a more talented band.
Its not how good each band is, you cant compare them, they are an entirely different category of music. Comparing them in levels of talent however, is possible.

Regardless of wheter they are talented or not, talent isnt everything. Rammstein is made up out of average musiscians at best, yet I think they're bloody brilliant cause of there songs. In the end it all comes down to songs. And when it comes to songs, it all comes down to opinion.
