Good call..actually. Getting 3 on 1ed is tiring.
I'm replying to 3 people at once, sorry if I changed Certain to certian, and spelled me as be. Happens when I'm typing at this speed.

On that world leader.. I gotta check again, but I thought he was Latvias national leader. Doesn't matter, he represents people who need our president to show up on time to a scheduled meeting. It means something to me when a person is on time. If you are there every time you said you would be, you take your job seriously, it sets your rhythm and focus to the task you are assigned.

Everything I believe in has a reason. Just please ask on one thing at a time, but I'll sidetrack off on to what california did wrong in the mean time... hah cause it was brought up while I was posting some other idea.

I really don't like how California is set up too. There is a problem, and I believe it is Hollywood that jacked up all the prices of living, causing living to be an extra pain. I really don't like business decisions made by people in Hollywood. If what I hear is true, it is a society made up of people who compete to be the most popular and most special. Sounds like middle school on a grande scale.

Actually Hollywood is like it's own little world in Southern California. Yes, the housing is the most expensive in Southern Calfornia, but that's because all of the housing is extremely extravagent.

The cost of living in Southern California is ridiculous, because the whole area is beautiful. It rains like maybe 5 days out of the year, and it never snows. The coldest it gets during the day is like 50-60 degrees. It's just a more desireable place to live than anywhere else...and having the Pacific Ocean right there isn't too bad either. Almost the entire coast from Malibu to San Diego is good for surfing, and everything you could want is within an hour and a half drive.

People have always competed to be the most popular or most special in someway. It's not just middle school, it's high school, it's college, it's real life. It's having the biggest nicest car, the fattest house, and the nicest clothes. I personally don't feel it's a bad thing at all...California is what the real world is all about. Working harder than the next guy in order to live a little more comfortable than him.

I know the cost of living in Southern California is ridiculous...but after living here...I can honestly say there is no place on the Earth that I would rather spend the rest of my life.

LOL! Hollywood? Trust me is no golden gates when entering the city of Hollywood. Their business is mostly for their benefit not for the city.

To each his own. I prefer small towns/cities. I like space.

Everything gets more complicated when you try to fit more people in the same mile of land. California tends to be quite dense, so crime goes up, water/plumbing design, and landscaping for housing, and the wonderful desirable weather.... it is a formula for difficulty, but good fancy living if that is what you want.

When I talk California... I'm talking L.A., I'm sure there are boonies. The culture of people there is different due to Hollywood and the massive population density around the Pacific Coast.

Think about it this way, you role the dice 7 million times for your Wealthy people, Crime people, Just crazy people... and you get all kinds.

Role the dice here, you get 6 or 7 million rolls for the whole state area, and not just 1 city location. I'm talking less stress. People aren't "nice" but they live without the 7th million dice rolled for someone who is a murdering basterd next to their house (most likely).

Christian Leader Faults Bush on Iraq Deaths

By Suzanne Goldenberg / The Guardian

George Bush suffered an embarrassing rebellion from the ranks yesterday when the founder of the conservative Christian Coalition said the White House had dismissed the very idea of US casualties in Iraq during the run-up to the war.

In an interview with CNN, the movement's founder, Pat Robertson, described a conversation with Mr Bush shortly before the war in which Mr Robertson voiced his fears for American troops, and suggested it was time to prepare the country for loss.

"I warned him about this war. I had deep misgivings about this war, deep misgivings. And I was trying to say, 'Mr President, you had better prepare the American people for casualties,'" Mr Robertson said. He said Mr Bush had replied: "Oh, no, we're not going to have any casualties."

The rare criticism from Mr Robertson, who otherwise remains an ardent supporter of the White House, was not the only act of betrayal by those claiming proximity to Mr Bush.

Six of the president's kin have created a website called bushrelativesforkerry.com dedicated to the defeat of their famous relative. "Because blood is thinner than oil," the front page says. "Please don't vote for our cousin."

The six are all descendants of Mary Bush House, the sister of Prescott Bush, the founder of the political dynasty and George W's grandfather. None has had any contact with the president, although a few knew his father, the first president Bush.

They accuse their cousin of gross arrogance, a misplaced sense of entitlement, and failing to live up to Christian values.

"As much as I'd like to vote for a relative running for president, I just can't," writes Hilary House.

But the family feud, though annoying for Mr Bush, is unlikely to have anything near the impact of the criticism from a figure with Mr Robert son's influence on the Christian right.

He has voiced doubts about the war in the past, but his decision to speak out uncompromisingly now - less than a fortnight before polling day - may deliver a serious setback to a Republican election strategy that hinges on turning out the 4 million evangelical Christians who stayed at home in 2000.

The televangelist also told CNN yesterday that he wished the president would admit to making mistakes, and suggested that his frustrations had been growing.

"The Lord told me it was going to be A, a disaster, and B, messy," Mr Robertson said. "I warned him about casualties."

hmmmm maybe even God is getting tired of dubya? 💃

which is precisely why even though I stick up for Bush a lot...I'm ultimately voting for Kerry.

Believe it or not....THIS SITE...was my reason for switching my views. guess you can change someone's opinion.

the internet is a beautiful thing isnt it?
glad to hear of your change of heart.
just make sure you stick to your guns
when you're in that booth! 😉

i've tried to stay open to things, and gather what information I could.

I honestly can't see why anyone could look at what's happened in the past 4 years and still say Bush is doing a good job.

The gas prices in the country alone are enough for him to lose my vote. if the Iraq war was all about oil...then why in the world are our damn gas prices through the roof?

you'd think he could deliver on the ONE thing he actually put effort into accomplishing.

is "officaial" anything like "official?"

Lol...I await the day the independent pary will return........like in that WB show....

does anyone else find it funny that only 36 people have cast a vote here?

Bush really F'ed up. but face it, he's leading. how?? i really duno. to me it proves that he's somewut of a true genius. after doing so much shit i thought kerry would wipe tha floor with him.

I'm afraid he's gona win...and it looks like he prolly will.

I don't know if Bush is a genius. You can't measure intelligence.

You can win the presidency if you show you should be underestimated, and then are caught with the fact he really has more than he shows. If that is genius, then he is.

I don't think Bush is a genius, I don't think he's a great President...But I think he's a good President and one we need right now in these difficult and dangerous times...Kerry which I'm sure faught bravely for our country, can not sway me that he is a leader just because of what he did in Vietnam. Being a President is different.

So don't be,
Look at What Bush did, Read what Link said. (Good points Link)

Have you heard about the large pile of seething elephant Crap that is No child Left behind? THAT is enough reasoning for me to not Vote Bush (If I could vote that is)

(Where do you go to school Link?)

Let me get this straight-you would solely not vote for Bush because of No Child Left Behind? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard...sorry, but terrorism, health care, security, everything else the President does is more important than that...but hey, I guess that's your opinion.

No thats ONE of the many reasons I don't like Bush. I was just giving an example,
Oh and NCLB is the polocy that most affects me, a high school student, so yea, its near teh top of my list.

You said it was "enough reasoning" for you not to vote for him.

so basically everyone has to have a well structured arguement but you?

PVS and Hunchy, as a Canadian watching America's
next election with interest , I was wondering if the square
bulge under Bush's jacket during one of the debates was
ever officially explained ?
