pr 1983: I think that most women do know that it's ok to be vulnerable. they're just not AS vulnerable as they used to be, and that may be why some men regard them as not vulnerable. actually, I think women are better at realizing when they're in need of help, medical and otherwise, than men, and aren't as afraid of talking about their emotional needs as men sometimes are. so yes, I do think women know how to be vulnerable and accept that they're vulnerable (even better than men, I dare say, but of course I'm generalizing here), they're just not AS vulnerable and don't NEED to be as vulnerable as they used to.

I don't think that any guy should ever give up his 'masculine' sides. I do think that these sides should be expanded to embrace things otherwise regarded as 'feminine' though, as well as a woman's 'feminine' sides should be expanded to embrace more traditional 'masculine' ones.

but all in all, with few exceptions, I think we pretty much agree on this entire subject 🙂

syren: oh dear. thanks a lot. you made me blush 😮 😄

I reckon it's their own choice. I'd change mine but only if I don't have my PhD yet, which I might very well have by the time someone marries me. I like my surname alot as well. But hey, whatever, the deciding factor in this country is having to go through home affairs to get a new ID book. That alone would make me stick to my surname.

Who knows, who cares. I'll have to go ask my mum...

It's up to her; I don't care.
