"dude u cant slow his healing factor done...he has uncharted healing ability....as long as he is alive.he will heal uniformly at the same rate......"
not true.......it works based off of nureshment and energy. hence getting gutted by cyber takes loner due to poisions slowing down his system, getting muscles turned to jelly and reforming before next blow when adrenalines high with hulk, and reforming from a single drop of blood....
First you say Wolverine's claws are a non-factor...then I tell you why they are a factor. I never said Captain America's shield isn't an advantage for cap.
The parameters of the fight make Wolverine's claws irrelevant. So whatever reasons you bring up, all of which are right in a typical fight, they're moot, because the fight says Wolverine's claws aren't useable.
In new avengers 5( THE MOST RECENT DISPLAY OF WOLVERINE), he gets his claws stuck into his neck...and moments later it's healed. He already begins fighting back while his neck is already slit OPEN. SO, it DOES actually heal instantaneously.
I just checked it and it seems he did. But there's also been cases, such as with the Punisher, where Wolverine's entire face was blown off and it didn't heal the entire story arc. True, he kept fighting and that's a testament to Wolverine's toughness, but excuse me for not using the same specific event as you; writers do different things with characters' powers. I've seen Spider-Man hold up a building and that shouldn't be possible for him.
NEXT you take the TINIEST detail out of my sheet...and try to use it to say that Cap is stronger when the most important part is the RATINGS. and the RATING CLEARLY state Cap is rated @ 3 and Wolverine is rated @ 4?
And yet other sources claim Cap maxes out around 800 lbs., the same amount your sources said Wolverine can bench. What makes your source more credible? Was it written by the creators of Cap and Wolverine?
THEN you talk about Wolverine not being stronger than cap because it's "not possible". Do not get into this pseudo scientific babble because like the lactic acid issue, you have no idea what you are talking about.
Glad to see you ignored the fact that I said that if this was something Wolverine could indeed do, over the centuries of life he's had, he would've built enough strength to allow him to handle more than he's currently said to be capable of. And yet it hasn't happened.
First you say Wolverine can't bench press more than cap (800lbs) cuz he cant' do more than what's possible...
More than what's possible for him. Pay attention.
Sorry if my reply was slow; I only visit this forum.
You pay attention, obviously I was talking about what's possible[ for wolverine] and I'm telling you it IS in fact possible for wolverine because of his healing factor. Besides the fact about his claws not being allowed in this fight, everything else I wrote still holds true and everything you wrote is still blatantly wrong.
And the scans I posted are from MARVEL HANDBOOK- WOLVERINE...so YES they are from the people who write and created wolverine. You say it's something wolverine could do....the scans clearly show evidence that it's something HE HAS DONE. DUde you really need to get a clue.

I'm sure this is completely irrelevant to this thread...but I'm really curious about something.
What the hell could that last word be? I honestly can't think of anything three-letter words that would fit in right there. Again, I know this has nothing to do with the forum at all, but when I saw this, I became instantly curious to know what JWang is trying to say.
So...if he or anyone else would be so kind as to enlighten me as to what that last three-letter word says...I'd be much obliged.
AHAHAH lmao, gl guessing. It's actaully pretty obvious.
And yea, cap and wolverine's fighting skills are even, they represent the pinnacle of martial artists in Marvel. Few other people have 7 rating...fyi Sabretooth has a 6, STICK is rated 6, Kraven is rated 6, BLack Panther is 5 Daredevil and his rogues are almost all 5 (Note that Spider-man is rated 4...that's like the peak for an untrained fighter),and Elektra is rated 6, Deadpool is 6 and LadyDeathstrike is 6. I know Ogun and MIster X are rated 7 but I think that's about it

Have Wolverine and Cap every had a real fight? There was that time when he was basicly a mindless beast right before Cap became a werewolf... but that is hardly a good example. They were supposed to fight in New Avengers 5 but never did and the recent Cap apparance in Wolverine is even worse then the one I first mentioned.
Wolverine should beat Cap at least 8 times out of 10. The two of them are basicly equals physically and in fighting skill but Wolverine has a healing factor and has adamantium fist that will pack a wallop.
