nope, wolvies healing factor wont help him in a fight, he doesnt heal instantly like the hulk or deadpool, his healing factor kicks in after a fight, when hes wounded. he can probally heal form a paper cut or if he scraped his knee instantly, but not from serious injury. captan america wins
What the hell are you talking about?!

When suffering from major damage (Such as Class 100 punch), Wolverine needs some time to heal. But punches from Captain America...second or two, I would guess...unless they hit a nerve or are punched in places where it causes more injury.
Even damage from Class 100s punches dont force him to sit down and wait to heal, his healing factor patches him up in seconds.

It just depends on a writer how strong Wolverine's healing factor is, sometimes he heals fast like hell, sometimes he heals much slower.

not true actauly. it depends on the time frame, people forget that back in the 80's wolverine healing factor was much slower, due to the fact, that was befor 2 major up grade to it.
Well some times it's true. Millar's Wolverine in Enemy of State healed pathetically slow... but Millar is hack so I can let it slide.

Wolverine on the ground holding his stomach after being staped once by Gorgon saying "Come on and heal" to himself is a far cry from normal "I can take a thousand bullets and didnt even fall over when Lady Deathstrike stabbed me in the heart" Wolverine.
I don't know looks like his stomach to me...

true, but u gotta remeber that sword was implied to be through wolverines heart, that was not a gut shot it was right through his heart.
That must have been one hell of a dead eye aim because Wolverine's heart is protected by his sternum and his rib cage that are encased in adamantium. That sword would've had to have squeazed through the tiny openings through the rib cage. They're not exactly tiny, but it's a tiny target to aim for with a full force sword thrust though. If that wasn't the case, then the sword should've shattered on his skeleton.

opps ur right I was incorrect, I ahd not read that comic in some time. so ya that is a pirtty bad showing unless it went through intestine, and a kidny but even if it did that still pritty bad
I wouldn't say that its a bad showing considering a normal human would be dead in a few minutes from a wound like that. All it shows is that Wolverine needs a little time to heal from major attacks.
Given that there are suppose to be people like Deadpool who have a better healing factor, it makes sense that Wolverine's isn't instantaneous (its hard to do better than instant healing)

I always thought it took along time to die from a stab (or bullet) wound to the stomach. Its very painful and there is little a hospital can do to patch you up but it takes a while to bleed out.
And its a bad showing when you consider that Silver Samurai has put Wolverine through the meat grinder with his katana delivering far worse damage then that with out the pace of their combat slowing in the slightest.

no thats a bad showing. wolverine and deadpool have about the same healing factor only thing is deadpool can not die.
also no that is a realy bad showing if u look at wolverine recently with other writer or just in genral that should not of even slowed him.
I seriously doubt that a 10 foot long steel spike right through the stomach where all the major organs are wouldn't slow him down.
