To be honest, this chapter was more satisfying than what I expected it to be, even if I also want Rebecca to lose.

She did admittedly see him moving and so deserved silver medal for living. The luck comes from the fact that Cavendish's super mode only lasts for a few seconds it would seem. Unless Hakuba was impressed by her and decided to let her win which...is slightly better but still kinda lame.

I'm warming up to the chapter. Maybe it was Bleach's stupid way of powering up Renji but it is starting to look better on rereads.

After this a**-pull by Oda, I hope Burgess gets the fruit.

Pretty sure Rebecca won't be able to get through Burgess. Are the finals a 4 free for all match?

Fight should be between Sabo and Burgess. Rebecca and Bartolomeo should be non-factors.
But I feel like Oda has already set Rebecca or Sabo to win the match.

Rebecca doesn't really have a dream that would make her a good fit for the Straw Hat crew.

But maybe Burgess and barrier guy can cancel out or something.

She'd have the weakest crew origin yet, it just feels like that's where it's headed to me.

His origin was reasonably strong, I felt.

And yea, I don't like his regression.

at least franky's character is getting back to that street punk badass thing again, im enjoying enough to where i can just forget usopp right now.

Chapter was okay.

I kind of Wonder if Diamante will go down like a chump or be an actual threat.

Senor Pink is awesome.

i think Senor Pink was meant to be a deconstruction of the whole super stoic eroic character who looks after their "Nakama" and all that jazz

Lao-G is giving me Mask De Masculine flashbacks.

Would be more terrified of Pica if he wasn't starring down Luffy and Zoro.
