"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good . And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
Genesis 1:31
* God created all good... 😉

Free will gives us choice not the ability to create. Evil had to have been created for us to choose. If there was no evil, then how could we have chosen it?
* i beg to disagree, bro... there is a path to goodness, we are entitled to decide: to walk through it or not... unfortunately, if we don't walk on the said path, that is where evil will emerge... 😉
Originally posted by peejaydthat really didnt answer anything, your just saying that we have a choice but you cant choose something unless it was presented to you in the first place.

* for example: there's something you should do, but you chose not to... it's a manifestation of free will... nothing was presented to you but you had chose something... that's to do nothing... 😉

Good and evil are inherent properties of all things, including God. There is no right path, that is a tool used by the powerful to control the masses.
* nope...
"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good . And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."Well god created satan according to scripture, so he DID CREATE EVIL...Unless you're saying god did not create all things...
Genesis 1:31* God created all good...
The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these. (Isaiah 45:7, NASB)
Is it not from the mouth of the Most High That both good and ill go forth? (Lamentations 3:38, NASB)

"Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls . But they said, We will not walk therein."
Jeremiah 6:16
* see? 😉

* it pertains to humans... in the eyes of a man, God doeth evil...
"Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment ."
Job 34:12
* even death is God's love... consider a person hanging on for dear life battling cancer or other deadly disease? God puts rest by death... just an example, not in general... 😉

That was written for the Jews. Are you a Jew. 🙄 It was also talking to a people about laws and making a new life different from the old one.
Also, way would something written in the bible have any thing to do with me? I am a Buddhist.
* God never created Satan to be evil... He created Satan as an angel... and Satan was not evil at first...If god is all knowing then he knowingly created evil. If god created free will, then he knowing knew he was creating evil...
* it pertains to humans... in the eyes of a man, God doeth evil...So then, god influences people to do evil?"Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment ."
Job 34:12

* that is not written for the Jews only...
"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations ."
Jeremiah 1:5
* God ordained Jeremiah a prophet unto the nations ... 😉

So then, god influences people to do evil?
* nope... common misconception... for example, someone you care died, you blame God knowing He is the One who took the life of your loved one... in your eyes, God did something evil... but in reality, He did not, He even helped your friend by death... 😉

Are you sure that means what you think it means? How do you know that wasn't added later? The bible has been altered many times. And people are only guessing at what this means.
So, you think this is referring to Jesus? Well, that would mean that Jesus is not God but just a prophet unto the nations.

The god of the bible is limited then........Not all powerful...
* here's what the Bible has to say...
"But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock , and unto the Greeks foolishness ;"
I Corinthians 1:23
* Christ was a stumblingblock and a foolishness for those who do not believe in Him... however...
"But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God ."
I Corinthians 1:24
* for those people who believe in Christ, He is the power and the wisdom of God... 😉
* you do the math... 😉

* you quote Saint Paul wrongly, and calls him a heretic? read the context of his epistles, not only the verse... 😉
"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible ."
Matthew 19:26
* what is impossible for human, is possible for God... 😉
* however, being all-powerful does not mean God can do anything... because God cannot lie... nor change... 😉
