Make a potion with any kind of negative effect and you will be given the option of poisoning a weapon, instead of drinking it.

Hey guys.. i read somewhere .. all equipment in those cases locked up are useless... they are display only equipment. So I don't think you should waste your picks trying to get them out... you may be very disappointed. I would try one of the easier ones and see what the equipment stats look like before I ran around trying to free all of them.

you know I was thinking of that... but the thought also ran by that maybe you cant really 'use' the item until you're the proper level for it...

the problem is you cant see that particular items stats through the glass case.. it just shows up as display case

'display only' type items do make alot of sense.. I just didnt think bethesda would do that o_o

but yeah pick an easy one as recommended above and see how that flies

These should suffice for now.. since I'm sure there are some thieves out there that like to discover stuff o_O

edit : bah.. 1 for the road.. Fighters Guild Chorrol - 1st floor.. apears to be dwemerish by look.. but going by the elvish design in this game I'd lean towards that.. so Elvish Axe [display case lock : very hard]

same as above, 4 lockpicks average, and i have 80 something...i'll go from whatever looks best to me 😛

It would be nice if you could purchase mannequins or something to put your armor / weapons on, that you've collected in your travels

well i just looked at leyawiin. all the weapons in the display cases are just replicas, they do 0 damage and sell for 0, so it was absolutely pointless, lol. now to check for the other 2 towns...

bravil armor is glass, not replica. but the defense of all those are just 1

the ones in cheydinhaal are mixed. the dagger is a deplica, the gauntlets are 1 armor, and the gems...im selling them w00t!

so the fact that it has 1 armor value means that you're not the appropriate level to make use of the armor yet? or could it be another form of replica?

Do you have a guide on the game? I don't know what to do on the quest "Lost Histories". I talked to the guy in the jail and he said something about a "pale lady" and that's all i have so far. the quest says thats the only clue i have and i should follow it. but where am i supposed to go??

I checked my book and didnt see anything about it.. is it a faction quest?.. main quest?.. or a misc. quest? heh

it's a theives guild quest 😛

BTW...is there anyway i can choose where to set chairs and crap once i buy furniture for my house?

I'm guessing the house is already furnished after you purchase it.. at least that would be the easy approach

I think someone is working on a slave mod.. well.. slave / housekeeper that walks around the house putting the stuff you've thrown onto the ground in its appropriate place

Go to a fencer if you're in the thieves guild, I use the one in Bruma, you get as many lockpicks as you want.

Just orderred the game along with 24: The Game for PS2.
