I just found a guide, but... damn...

This might take a while.

LOL, goodluck!.

I JUST BOUGHT A 10K HOUSE IN BRUMA, W00T

AND I GOT SOME FURNITURE WITH IT....just need 5k more and i can get some dining stuff ๐Ÿ˜„

How the hell did you get that much gold?shock

well lets see. i'm lvl 12 now, i have a glass sword (which hey BTW SaTsuJin, I think it did require lvl because it does 10 damage for me now), and i fought in the arena. the arena gave me a lot of gold for rewards and stuff. but before that i had about 6k because i was doing quests like crazy for the theives guild and fighters guild. Now the theives guild said im on the last quest, but it will be really really dangerous. BUT HEY, its worth it ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. Oh yeah, i got more too because i sold expensive items (also haggled the items to make them more expensive) and yeah. now im exploring some crazy skeleton cave and hoping to find some treasure droolio

o_o! 10 damage!?.. eek.. I'm leveling all slow and lazy like... I tried out vampirism too.. its all..wierd to drink peoples blood..

its so hard being a goodie-two-shoes../sigh.. perhaps I'll find some leet armor.. cuz the merch's sure aint sellin any

I only did part of the quest as a joke so I don't enirely know. What you have to do is first go to the Arcane University in the Imperial City and talk to Raminus Polus (a vampirism topic will be there). He will direct you to the Count of Skingrad who is also a vampire and is researching the cure for his wife. He will direct you to the Glenmoril witches who were rumored to have a cure for vampirism. Once you get to their location (marked on the map) you will find only one of them and will agree to help you if you bring her five empty grand soul gems. That's as far as I got when trying it out. You most likely have to help her with her quest.

It's not that hard just do alot of guild quests.

Satsujin, isn't it screwed up how you get more powerful as you stop feeding but also become hurt by sunlight?

yeah I was kind of thinking that odd as well... you should get weaker from not eating, but meh... perhaps blood is what calms the disease down or something

You can become a vampire? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

yeah... the initial quest giver of the dark brotherhood offers you the chance to become a vamp... he says to go to sleep in the sanctuary and he'll come and bite your neck during the night.... there are alternate ways.. like fighting with vamps and contracting the disease that way..

it wasnt in morrowind, those were shitty quests though. you couldnt use boats or the magic guild to get around. like it was cool taht you could become a vampire but you didnt get to keep the extra stats you got from gettin bitten after you got it cured.

you first contract the disease.. then you must wait 3 game days.. then after sleeping you will wake up and feel the effect of vampirism.. you will have red eyes and fangs.. and your facial structure will accomodate this change...

you can only feed on sleeping victims... dont let anyone catch you doing this.. as its not favored by guards

so yes its permanent

There is a cure: this is coming from a guy who's been to Vampirism and back again. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

... Being a Vampire is a pain in the ass. Much better regular, but now I do have a nice upgrade to my Speed stat because of my time on the dark side. ๐Ÿ˜—

You can go in the light... as long as you've drinken blood in the past two nights.

No its not permanent, there is a quest you can take to get rid of it but its VERY long and excruciating.....

Great game btw, I knew it would be. Its even getting great reviews across the board which is suprising because I thought they would underrate it like they did with Morrowind.

it is surprising also because most of the great games get low reviews by people. A.K.A. - mOrOnS

oh.. I didnt mean that kind of permanent... I thought he was asking if it lasted permanently... (ie. maybe it wears off after a while) .. of course theres a cure hehe... just gotta drink a 'cure disease' potion or something (when you contract the hemophilia)... after full blown vampirism however... you must perform the quest for the cure to reverse it

sorry my wording was off ๐Ÿ™

Oh ok, just trying to clear up any possible confusion.

Are you serious? Vicente offers to turn you into a vampire. That's awesome as hell, I had to contract it by fighting vampires in Azura's shrine quest.

Satsujin, did you get to the purification quest for the dark brotherhood? That depressed me. ๐Ÿ™
