cool, ill be sure to add you when i get home. and really, dont worry about getting stomped. you'll get experienced quicker if you play online, and the learning curve is quite short online compared to on campaign mode. btw, suggestion: do not play ranked matches. people are assholes and take that stuff way too seriously. thus spawn camping, team stacking, booting because you're playing too good, booting because your rank isnt high enough. you could spend hours just trying to get into a damn game. i'm level 1 (lowest) and always will be because i dont care about rank.

I think if you strike them when they're staggering you do amplified damage.. i.e. You block w/ blade or shield > enemy staggers > you strike.. not too sure though.. since I mostly fight people with heavy armor lately

ok, i was completing a dark brotherhood mission, assassinating a half naked guy (trying to keep it as spoiler free as i can, but if you did it you probably know what im talking about.) so anyway, i kill him and his bodygaurd arrests me. so i pay the fine and pop back at the castle gate which is like 10 paces away from the murder scene. i get back there and all the gaurds are beating the shit out of the bodygaurd. once the bodygaurd was dead they turned on eachother. there were like 7 or 8 soldiers and they killed themselves off to 2. 😂 WTF!?!?!?!? i got the item i needed off the original guy's corpse and went off on my merry way stepping over a pile of dead knights.

do I have to join the mages guild to get a discount on recharging my enchanted weapons?.. it really sucks how fast they run out of charges 🙁

I dont think you get a discount. I remember checking that with the fighters guild to get my armor repaired and it was no cheaper when i was a member. Wouldnt you want to join every guild anyway? Im a member of EVERYTHING i can be. FIghters, mages, thieves, dark brotherhood, order of the vampire guys, arena, and the Blades.

I just found something funny. I went to Chorral to get my horsy and continue on the main quest. However I was running around screwing around (meaning had no intentions of saving what I did) and broke into the South Wall Tower. Ontop of the tower there was a lantern hanging from the roof, I shot at it with my Bow, and it continued to dance around ages after shooting it. What else have u experienced that is weird?

only thing I found odd was how after you say goodbye to M'aiq.. he runs away at like 200% speed

if you go to the cloud temple, and walk right up to one of the dueling blade warriors till you cant get any closer, while sneaking and looking directly at his face (upward) his lips disappear and you see his teeth and gumbs. looks like some twisted zombie. i should post a screencap.

Has anyone done the Killing Fields quest? I am at it now and it is hell. I have to survive three waves of Goblins together with 2 idiots. idiot number one is called Antus (or something) and rushes into everything and dies. The other brother just stands there, he doesn't do anything! Is this normal?

yea i did that one pretty easy, both brothers fought fine though when i did it. the lantern thing is funny i had a similar thing happen with a lantern but i cant remember where it was.

OMFG THIS PISSES ME OFF!!!!! I swear i want to slap my sister. She fuc^ing saved over my character that i worked on so freaking hard! Now i have to start the **** over because of her!

Hmm, at least from playing a lot of Oblivion u should know several good punishments for her.

Btw I finally managed the Killing Fields, I just ran out of the field and engaged the Goblin Berskerers/Skirmishers before they got to the brothers.

How much can every one else carry? (Encumbrence wise, or whatever the hell it's called.)

I think I'm at 290, or something.... but I'm at level 24. Until about, I think, level 16, I had no idea that strength increased the amount of things you could carry, and then just about a level or two ago, I found out I could increase any stat, even the ones that don't have a + and a number.

I'm stupid. 😖

Another question. Just curious: Do you guys use mostly light armor, heavy armor, or a mix? Right now the only heavy garb I'm wearing is a helmet, because I couldn't find any other efficient light one. I prefer light armor over heavy, mainly because I'm a thief, so my character isn't the "run and gun" type.

I have boots of feather and a feather jewelry.. I think its a ring.. cuz my necklace is water breathing

I am a thief and wear full light armor, for weapons I use a good Bow, and sometimes I use a one hand blade with a shield (however better blades appear all the time so I often change. Just now I got a blade and gauntlets from a shrine, they have no value and weighs nothing.

Here I am again putting my 2 cents in, I read that Oblivion has just broke the record, and sold over 1.7 million copies worldwide, and it's still on the rise... I was kinda surprised, because this means that as an RPG it pretty much beat any Final Fantasy game in terms of sales.

I have a question, can you sould trap a powerful creature in a Grand Soul Gem, and enchant your armor, or weapons with it? I mean you did this couldn't you increase your strength? I still don't have Oblivion, I won't be able to buy it until the end of this month. The reason why I asked these questions was. because you could do the Grand Soul Gem trick in Morrowind, as long as when you enchanted thing you secified it having a constant effect.... ie; strength, jumping, night vision...etc... Oh and thanks for all of the play by plays, I come here often to read what you guys have experienced, while playing.
