also using the consol, glitches, or mods to make the game easier or to just give yourself a boost like a ton of money is so pointless. Why take all the challenge out of the game, makes it sooo pointless to even keep playing.

it doesnt take all the challenge out of the game. some of us dont want to spend 500 hours playing it, so we take a boost.

You don't have to cheat to avoid playing 500 hours.

funny, because i dont feel like im cheating. my only gained advantage is over a computer and not over fellow gamers...i still have quite a challenge since all money gives me is good weapons/potions/spells etc. but it doesnt win the game for you. im still advancing at a crawl. when i think that had i not 'cheated' i wouldnt have come 1/4 of the way, im glad i did, since i would have gotten sick of the repetitiveness of it (and i was getting sick of it) and not played it anymore...wasting $60.

so it all depends on a players preference. if you're just that damn good at RPG, and/or are content with the idea of growing old still playing it, good for you.

i just wanted to eliminate a very tedious element from the game, since gold earned is minimal while items/spells/recharging items is relatively expensive to the point of rip off.

so yeah, i have a renewed love for the game, while for many of you it might ruin it. to each their own.

As you progress through the game normally you will get more and more money, eventually getting money quite easily. Keep in mind, the enemies level up with you in this game, which means that they drop better items, and more money.

If you want to cheat (and you are, no denying that, your cheating just doesn't ruin the game experience for others, it's still cheating) then that's fine, but gaining money is one of the main reasons to continue playing the game, since so much of the content is dependant on money, doing what you did, more or less completely trivialized much of the content by giving you items, potions, armor, spells, ect that you would normally have to actually work at to achieve, thus making them much more rewarding when you do get them.

But as you said, to each their own. If it makes the game better for you, that's your deal, you spent your money, so as far as I'm concerned, do what you wish with your copy.

I'm just a little wary, because cheating in single player games can lead to cheating in multiplayer games, which is a big no-no as far as I'm concerned, for obvious reasons.

I did the same as PVS.
If I didnt, I wouldnt finish the game. I lose interest in the game before I finish it because its an really long game, so I just got some extra money, so it goes a little quicker.
But, I rarely do this to games that are shorter like FPS's.

And I would never ever do it in multi games. I think they'res a difference between cheating to finish it, to cheater to be the best.
Also, it doesnt take the challenge out of the game. It's only money, and I still have to kill all those bloody skeletons.

Getting millions of dollars = Getting better equipment/spells before you'd normally be able to get them = making the game easier then was intended = making the skeletons easier to kill.

I just snagged whatever I'm using off of dremoras and vampires.. ๐Ÿ˜–

I haven't gotten the game yet, but I was wondering whether or not the charcter that you play gets older, and if so do you suffer from the effects? What I mean is do your stats decrease? The reason why I'm asking is, because a while back I read that NPC's age in the game.

Well I haven't played so long so I don't know if they age, however you do choose the age in the creation of the character (aging will take a lot of time though, 2 seconds equals one minute ingame).

That sounds really cool, how much does an X-Box 360 cost, and I'm talking about the most expensive system in US dollars? One more question as well, what is the difference in the two?

X-box sucks and there should be no reason for u to buy it to get one good game, get the PC version.

I would have to get a new computer in order to play it, I'm still using a Pentium 3 1ghz. It will never work on my system. Plus I hear that within the year X-Box 360 will have a great line up.

Well upgrading the computer may be cheaper (or maybe not) and will certainly give u more options as time goes by.

then theres the free mods created by users to customize the game to your liking... I believe you have to pay for any kind of mod for the xbox version

i've got news for you. skeletons and zombies are NEVER easy to kill. now it only takes 100 hits instead of 1000. all i really have is a couple of really good weapons to help get me out of a jam. fact is though, money doesnt buy experience/HP/MP etc. only buys you better goods. its still quite difficult.

but hey, if you really feel like schooling me in gaming, why dont you get an xbox live account and try to own me in GRAW. thats right, you just zip it!!! ๐Ÿ˜›

skeletons and zombies are very easy to kill especially zombies.

For those of u who have seen the world of Tamriel, do we ever get to the big city ontop of a walking tree? I was reading through the books I had gotten/stolen (some of them are over 80 pages...) and really liked the one called something with Fire or Red (only had volume two), it was well written and exiting. And I really wanted to go there, so is it in the game or just in that book?

They're just really annoying to kill.

After the hundreth skeleton, it gets tedious.

You know, there's this slider in the options menu that allows you to adjust the difficulty of the game, moving it to the left makes monsters a lot easier to kill if you don't like sitting there hacking at them over and over.

I've got Xbox Live already! I forgot to tell you. My SN is BackFire349, feel free to add me. Though I'm not ready for GRAW online, I'll get raped like a schoolboy at church. I still have trouble with the controls since I'm so used to the mouse + keyboard controls for shooters like that.

In time though, my friend, in time.
