do you kill someone to get the dark brotherhood to come after you?

I just got this game for XBOX360 and I am so hooked on it. I just finished leaving the kings son to the Blades Guild.

You can design your own character but you can only have one in the game, I just chose the Wooded Elf race and made some changes to his face.

no, you can probably download them if you have it for the computer though. its like molding their face, its not like completely making a face from scratch. i picked a dark elf cuz that was the ebst race in morrowind and he looks fine. i should've picked a breton though.. better for a battlemage.

What's a Breton look like?

Battlemage is like a wizard right? You use magic to battle instead of a sword.

I would want to have a magic user for combat, but it doesn't look as fun as using a sword.

its not like a elder scrolls specific term, it just means a magic user that uses sword and shit too. i think its called a rogue in oblivion, im not sure. a breton is like a normal person, they're taller or something. i forget. ideal for someone who wants to be a battlemage though.

okay so im on the second mission for the thieves guild where you have to steal items and sell them to ongar the fencer and i get to him to go to sell him some stolen shit and guess what, theres no barter option. please dont tell me this is a glitch and tehres no way i can fix, please tell me theres something i can do.

😆 I think it only works if you are part of the Thieves Guild, and if you are already a member, then something went wrong. He is usually in the Tavern at night, and in his house in day. I like Ongar, he's my favourite fence 😊

im part of the thieves guild. he was outside, **** me if this ****s up my ****in game. that will actually ruin the entire game for me.

I havent played the Guild questline in a while, does it specifically have to be Ongar or can you go to any fence? It should tell you if you have killed an important character or something. Cant you reload before you killed him?

yeah, i was talking about the glitch with him not having the barter item. but i just had a wonderful idea, maybe he was off the clock when i saw him, i know it was light out but still, what times does it have to be for fences to sell shit? are they at 12 like the doyens?

I do believe he has to be at home. If he's sleeping, just wake him up and he'll barter with you.
