5000 is a lot at the point where you're at in the game, so i dont know. its an alright quest, it has a couple good parts in it.

if you want to cheat and get yourself bags of money i can direct you to a site that'll tell you how to do just that. i know what you're thinking, you dont like to cheat because you think it ruins the game. but in this game the money can just be tedious and annoying to have to worry about, and not having to worry about is taking absolutely nothing out my of experience.

For the amount of work you have to do in some quest and for them to reward you with only 100 - 500 Gold Coins is crap which is why I gave myself tons of money so I wouldnt have to worry about that.

Ummm.....What I would like to know is why are you 2 just coming out with this now. shock

Cheaters in the closet. tongue

Having the extra money couldn't hurt. Don't know if I'll actually go through with it, but I wouldn't mind knowing how.

EDIT: Just found some cheats myself. Never occurred to me to do that. Haven't did it in such a long time. Still curious as to how you two did it though.

I didn't use the money cheat, and I've now got something like 220,000 gold. Never really ran into gold problems while I was playing... before I became uber. ๐Ÿ˜›

Oh ok Thanks.

Yeah, after seeing how dark the house was and how eerie, I had no intention of sleeping in that house. I just knew that another vampire was gonna come along b/c the house itself looks like a dungeon. I just hate it and didn't want to sleep there.

So thanks for telling me b/c I might have never slept in there and discovered the quest.

Is the quest good? Worth $5000?

Keep on doing you. I'll get use to it eventually.

For the mansion quest:

Spoiler:
I did that quest, and I'm pretty sure you have to find the son, or relative, of the owner of the house, or whatever, and ask him about the house. If I remember correctly, he follows you into the basement and you start a quest about expunging the ghosts/haunts out of the house.

You eventually wind up fighting the ghost of the owner of the house, and once you've defeated him, the house becomes all furnished an cozy-like. And then you can fill all the wardrobes and cabinets with all the items you wish.

Pretty convenient to own a house.

EDIT: Woops, double post.

I'll wait until I've done the quest to read your spoiler, but why would you say that it's "pretty convenient to own a house"?

Well I beat the Arena. Now I'm being asked to Join the Dark Brotherhood. I don't know if I can kill an innocent man though. I'm leaving it alone for now.

I was thinking that the only way to join the Dark Brother Hood was to kill somebody on the streets or something and risk going to jail and stuff, didn't know I could also enter it in this way, which is more safe.

So after beating the arena, I went to the Mansion to sleep in the bed, when I woke up I was kind of shocked and surprised, kind of spooked me a bit.

It was dark so that didn't help and I had this dark figure in front of me talking to me, I thought I was supposed to fight, and then there were these white things (Ghosts/spirits) floating around behind him. It was just all too much at once. Not to mention I also have that FAN from the Arena following me around.

I immediately quit and loaded from my last save, right outside of the house before I went in to sleep. I figured that man might be a whole seperate thing from the house quest, and that the spirits were apart of the house quest so I decided to go sleep in another building and I talked with the Dark Brotherhood SPeak there. Less spooky in the light for sure.

So yeah.

I'll go and do the house quest when I get home this weekend and try and beat a round in the arena with the creatures now that I've completed the first part of the arena.

Those creatures are ferocious and harder than I thought. I chose to fight 2 mountain lions and they tore me up. So yeah, I'm going to keep trying that for a while.

Then I'll either go to the next town (I have a certain order in which I'm traveling to each town) or I'll go straight to Bravil and do the quests in that town and go from there to the place where I'm supposed to kill that old man. I haven't made up my mind though whether I'm going to do that or not.

Should be a better way than that.

Oh yeah. I do see what yall mean who told me that if I helped the Orc at the Arena, It'd be easier in the end to beat the arena.

Easier? It was plain pathetic. I didn't imagine to be just GIVEN to me like that. I felt kind of guilty doing it, but I was there already and I had no choice. I had to do it.

I wish it didn't have to be that way though.

A house is good to have mainly because you have a place to store all your stuff that you don't feel like carrying around, and yet don't want to sell. I ow three houses in the game, and all of them are filled with enchanted and rare items/weapons/armor, etc.

Ahora Mismo I leave all of my stuff down in the Arena Basement.

Well it doesn't help that the Mansion is so DARK AND MESSED UP.

At least give me some light. I should have to use a spell to walk around my own house.

Maybe something will happen and the house will improve. It does in the quest menu that I can start improving the house now.

We'll see. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I'm watching a show tonight and they show on the tv screen this game being played, then they span over to who is playing it and it shows 2 little girls each with their own controller, which is a XBOX 360 controller.

So they tried to play it off as if they were playing this 2 player game with these knock off controllers.

So basically, nobody was playing anything.

Just found it amusing.

And on tv it showed the character slowly walking through a dungeon, go over to the little girls and one is button mashing like all Hell. Ha.

So yeah....

i wouldnt leave my stuff anywhere until i owned a house man, i left my stuff in the fighters guild in leyawin and when i went back to get it it was all gone. i lost like 20 nirnroots and a bunch of armor and weapons.

Yeah, I'm definitely moving my stuff from the arena to my house then.

What is it about the houses that you own that makes it more convenient to store stuff there and them not disappearing?

How many houses do you own?

It seems like the Nirnroots are so hard to find. I went to the first place the man told me to go and after a couple minutes I was like forget this.

I've found 2 or 3 though just by accident.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

ive found a shitload, they're by pretty much any body of water.

i own around 3, ill probably buy one in every town, i just havent gotten around to it.

Wouldn't it be just as easy to own 1 or 2 houses and just use those whenever you need a house to sleep or store things in, although if you belong to a Guild you can sleep in the building in town that belongs to that Guild.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

yeah itd be easier, but it doesnt really matter because i have enough money now so why not have one in every town.

Save and Spend your money wisely so that it will last. Not blow it on everything b/c you can. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

At least that's what you're suppose to do in real life. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

In real life you can't go to the cave behind your house and knock off a few goblins for a pocketful of cash. ermm

That's why I just go over to my Aunt's House and ask that old Goblin for money. ermm

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

i dont need to save it. i can duplicate some expensive items and sell them instead, unlike in real life where you actually have to earn it.

Yeah, that's the code that I found the other night online. Have yet to use it though.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

its pretty simple, sounds more complicated than it really is. i like it too because it doesnt feel like im cheating, just exploiting a glitch.
