Yes I know what you are saying.But it in a way still encouaging the teens to have it even more.Even if they are taught.You are still showing them that they have condoms and are safe.

its because i love you so much . its because i want to protect you from unwanted pregnancies and illnesses such as HIV and AIDS not to mention the other std's .
parents do so Jackie because they love them and want to protect them . thats how and why they do so .

No. I don't know where you got this idea in your head. My mom gave me the sex talk when I was 14, even though she KNEW I wouldn't be going out and having sex. And guess what, she was right, because like I've said already, I'm 18 and still a virgin. But she did it because she cared for my health and well-being, and would rather that I know about protection in case I did have sex with someone. And I appreciated that she cared for me and loved me enough to make sure that I knew about birth control. Her telling me about it in no way encouraged me to have sex, it just taught me to be safe when I do choose to have sex.

you DO realise that women take the pill regularly and not just when they have sex right? you also realise that many woman use the pill for the sole purpose of regulating their menstral cycle, correct?

well, YOU want to wait till marriage, but you are NOT the entire world. Teens DO have sex and they NEED those pills and condoms to stop not only pregnancy but also to not get infected by STD's... or do you want the entire world to die?

I totally agree with shellie on this i mean have you noticed that birth rate among young teens is stedily increasing that is a scary thought if you ask me i say that informing your kids of the consecquences of having unsafe sex will make them think twice. But in my opinion i think that teens having babys is not the issue because of all the STD'S i mena you have got to tell them about why having sex can get u HIV Hepititis-b and c i mean there is a world of danger out there because of these STD's that i think our kids of today should be more worried about than poping out kids.. Dont get me wrong i think they should have safe sex cause there is no such thing as abstinence the more you tell them not to the more they are going to want to do it. so at least make them stay safe and make them tell you were they are going and when they will be back and if any thing use my trick. on their boyfriend or your own son that has been done to me by my girlfriends father. The way I understand it, you are saying that it is better that we talk our teenagers, who are generally rebellious against anything parents attempt to deturr them from, into not having sex, as opposed to accepting that they will do what they want, as they are so confident that they are basically invincible, and buying them pills or condoms.
