Can Parallax take a blast from galactus and not flinch like the phoenix did, I dont think that he can. Phoenix took away terrax power and turned him to a normal human and i have seen her do this to numerous of powerful beings, she might could do it to him. When phoenix is surrounded by the phoenix force, it aint much that you could do to her.
It was a What If when Phoenix took Terrax's powers. Wolverine in a What If killed a god. Don't take What Ifs as canon, it's not.
Im sorry, I just cant see him beating the phoenix, not even a stalemate. She is just to poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowerful. People powers seems to be null against her and I just dont think that he would be any different.
Of course when you compare Phoenix against lowly like heralds and mutants. Or a weak Galactus, who at one time was getting punked by Thor, the FF, and Avengers.

Careful, you will incur the wrath of GS who states that they are both the same being. Which is for the most part understandable, but they definitely have different levels of feats that they have accomplished. For arena matches, I would consider their feats seperately, in the same way I would consider warrior madness Thor to be different than regular Thor in terms of feats and what they could accomplish in an arena battle.

You can't state certainty about comics. Of course the Phoenix can be killed noone argues that it can't. Of course Parallax beats the Phoenix both of these are "facts"..... Unless a writer decides they are not.
