I need the CDs of these bands. I've heard their songs on the radio, but I can't get my hands on enough money to buy the CDs. I'm stupid.

I wrote another one, this one's in the form of a song. Picture a vaguely Tool-like, angry sounding group of young musicians with a slight punk influence.

Patriotism is “Love of a country”.
But if one’s country has done so much wrong,
Is it right to love his country,
Or to love the ideals it once stood for?
They tell me to fly my flag high
And to be proud.
But I know better.

Wherever I go,
I know,
There is more to this place than meets the eye.

Mankind desires little more than to be free.
Free? You call this free?
I live my life apparently unhindered
Apparently free...
But looks can be deceiving.
You never know when Big Brother is watching you,
From his eye in the sky, or his tap on your phone line.

Yeah, wherever I go,

Though if I had to pick an existing band... Hmm... Hard to say... Ya know what, I know I said "a slight punk influence", but it'd have to be a punk band. Either Strike Anywhere or Less Than Jake ✅

Not really, they're kind of an "underground" punk band.

Well, I don't watch MTV, but I'd guess no. You'd be surprised how many good bands there are whose music they don't play on the radio or anything.

Perfect quote. That's exactly how it is. I know a band that only plays in coffee shops around Chatt., but they're so good! And there's a Christian rock band that I can't live without, and I don't know why. But nobody knows who they are!

No clue. Rick Dees or whatever. I guess... I don't want to hear new music cuz I'm content with Creed.

dunno, I only listen to one station, which is only broadcast here.

I listen to 96.5 (local). They almost changed it to Britney-type pop. 😘
