Got something on your mind 7chan boy?

Found another link.

This Kevin McKidd rumour only makes sense, if he's playing Donald Blake.
What - is he going to be put in a muscle suit (aka Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut) and play Thor?

Give me Gerard Butler any day of the week!

Sadly, Gerard Butler doesn't seem available for the shooting window of this fall & winter. He's getting ready to star alongside Nicolas Cage in the Untouchables prequel - playing a younger version of Sean Connery's character - plus the Escape From New York remake. Blast!

Is Marvel serious about Triple H?

I like Kevin McKidd, he is a terrific actor. As for how he plays Thor, it may be because of CGI. I don't know what they are planning on showing someone 6ft. 6 weighing 700lbs.

Is Marvel serious about Triple H?

Marvel may be, but Matthew Vaughn isn't.

I've nothing against Kevin McKidd as an actor. But he's not the physical ideal.
Since they didn't use CGI to create the Thing & Juggernaut, I don't think they would use it to create a big, muscular male God, when you could cast someone who looks the part. I don't care if they stick to the letter about Thor's size in the comics, as long as he looks big enough. The movie Juggernaut wasn't quite as big as the comics one, but he was close enough for me.
When I was a kid, as a wrestling fan I would fantasize about Ultimate Warrior playing Thor in a movie. Now I'm reluctant to go with a wrestler, unless there is no choice.

Jim Helwig was a good wrestler. Honestly I really have no idea how they will do Thor. You would think the studio would hire someone at least muscular. I think McKidd makes a perfect Don Blake, but when he transforms into Thor I've no idea.

actually the guy is around 6'11 maybe even slightly more......i think they should either take him or tyler mane...AKA. sabertooth....thor is basically like ajax from troy but blonde and cleaner and no beard..

I think Nathan Jones is the perfect pick. It has to be someone almost unmatchable in physique. Jones is a giant but doesn't have warped giant-esque features. He alos has an excellent build. Put a blonde wig on him and grow a beard he's your man 😉

Yeah, I'd like to see him take a costume & makeup test, to see how he would look.

Makeup? Dude 😘

🙄 Makeup means testing the right wig to wear. Nathan Jones has little or no hair, remember? Plus, deciding whether to go with a beard or not.

If they really want this movie to sell, I'd go with Brad Pitt ala Troy. Of course, it's only my opinion.

Wrestlers speaking modern English are just as bad. 😛

Honestly, any wrestler portraying Thor would be a bad idea.....

Triple H kind of looks like Thor but I doubt he could pull off the role. I could be wrong though. Btw, who would you all get to portray Odin?

Just read a horrible truth reading Thor..

Spoiler:
This film cost $300 million dollars

The money hasn't even started to be spent yet - how can that be true?

Matthew Vaughn's own mouth...

Well, it's not a big obstacle. Shoot in a country where they can get a lot for their money, and reductions will come. The first $100 million dollar budget movie - Terminator 2 - had lots of budget-busting sequences that were cut at the script stage. Still ended up looking great.
If George Lucas can make Star Wars prequels for $120 million that look great, a THOR movie for $150 million must be possible.
