Vinnie Jones looked pretty good in the muscle suit they made for him. If it can be done, I suppose I will take the good actor in a suit, over a muscle head with no talent.

And it looks cheesy as Hell. The Japanese may be able to pull it off with Godzilla.

The guy from Beowulf would be perfect.

Vinnie Jones didn't have either going for him. Though he did look alright for as alright as an over-muscled, pinheaded character that is Juggernaut can look in real life. On a smaller scale it'd be much less noticeable.

If you mean Gerard Butler from Beowulf And Grendel, I would definitely agree.

Ya know if hunter was a bit talled he really has the thor look, Camera angles i think make up for not being over 7 feet though =) I picture thor at least 7 feet tall =)

Zemeckis is not involved, thankfully. I want real actors, not animation that looks fake.
Matthew Vaughn says he's awaiting Marvel to give him the green light to start shooting this year. There should be casting decisions within a couple of months.
If they cast a smaller actor, but put him in a convincing muscle suit, I will go along with that.

THOR has a release date - June 4, 2010! 💃

6'6"

I think the best choice for Thor would be Karl Urban from The Lord of the Rings - Two Towers. He played Éomer

Shoot - it seems Matthew Vaughn is no longer attached to direct. 🤨

This is the second Marvel film he's backed out on.

Release date is fixed for 2010. Shooting must certainly start by the end of this year.
If not Vaughn, then who could it be?
(I don't want to see Robert Zemeckis ANYWHERE NEAR this film.)

Beowulf was pretty good though.

Beowulf was a joke! I hated that movie.

Kevin Mckidd could be a good Thor?

dunno if anyone has mentioned him 😂
