MTV reports say the casting note, is looking for males in their mid-20.
That rules out a lot of the names here.

Hey I think they've possibly found Thor
Kenneth Branagh was seen eating dinner at Blairs today, accompanied by a young Blonde actor. Hmm wonder who that could be?
Latino Review broke the story "I had a first hand eyeball witness of Kenneth Branagh eating dinner at Blairs today accompanied by a young Blonde actor who i recognized from HBO's awesome miniseries Generation Kill that was on a year or so ago. I had no idea what his name was but I got home today and Googled him, his name is Alexander Skarsgård. I have no idea if he actually is Thor or not, maybe he's being considered, maybe he and Kenneth are just friends. However, it seems likely he is being considered since he's a young Blonde actor and seems to fit the description of the character. Two other men were with them but I didn't recognize either of them. I know it's speculative at best, even so I thought you'd wanna know.
Could this be the actor we have all been waiting for to swing Thor's hammer? Or is this the actor that will portray Loki? I think he is following more in Loki's footsteps rather then Thor's. The studio has not made any official comment but confirmation should be coming soon due to the production schedule of the film.

Although if I had a concern it would be that I don't know if as an actor he has ever played such a large role, or that he could take over the movie on acting ability.

This is a very ignorant post, and shows where your intelligence lies....it truly does. You can't even spell "shit" correctly. 😂 To be honest, whether the guy is hetero or not isn't a concern of mine, I'm just concerned with how well he may potentially portray Thor.

Also, I don't get where your beef is at with this guy. Obviously by the time the movie were to come out if he were cast they would change up his appearance, and he'd likely beef up in the gym, as do most people when they are signed on for these superhero movies. Let's be honest, this guy is the closest we've seen to Thor out of many, many bad suggestions such as Triple H (despite him being a favorite wrestler of mine). This guy has the look & the build to boot, and the golden locks as well.
One other thing I'm completely failing to understand is how you seem to believe they are butchering the character when we've seen no trailers or any clips, and we have barely had any news. Marvel Studios has done a pretty good job thus far at being faithful to their own characters with TIH, IM, & PWZ, so I have no doubt in my mind this movie will be great for Thor's character.

But to get back my beef is the model looks. And Triple H has the perfect look come to think of it. He could use some acting lessons evn though he's been in a movie already. But there's plenty of time for him to train in that dept.
