Master Chief vs Samus Aran

You have to think in Halo also! Hmm...2 Hunters and a bunch of Grunts. Should I:
A= Go in shooting with an assault rifle
B= Snipe the Hunters then kill the Grunts
C= Throw in a few grenades to kill the Grunts and then focus on Hunters
The Prophet of Regret- You have to figure out how to kill him because guns don't work. And Nintendo does not beat X-Box. X-Box can have better grachics and a lot more features Gamecube can never have in 1 disc. 3rd Age. 1 disc for X-Box. 2 for Gamecube.
X-Box has its own hard drive! Beat that Nintendo.

MC is lucky to get 6 rocket shots a lvl most of the time required to take out vehicles... Every other enemy SA kills gives her 5 more rockets.... shes the one spamming them out there MC can hold 8... SA 250???

All Nintendo games take the difficulty out of attacking the enemies. lol

- Chozo lore is there to give backstory to the samus aran character.. something that you read halo books on, because master chief lacks depth within the game world (thus they cover it in a paperback novel).. and they never call her the chosen one.. it was their decision to bring her to their home planet or leave her orphaned, which is why they call her "the hatchling" because they consider her one of their own.. as for your gun argument.. you can only LOOK and see that your gun is not working through trial and error.. my point is that enemies in halo die from all types of fire.. which makes it easier

-Samus was able to hold multiple missiles since day 1 of her NES days in the 1980's... so its not like thats anything new or unfounded..
and how can you spam something that only effects the target upon direct impact?.. with halos rockets you can shoot the floor and everyone around it dies.. plus.. again.. samus' enemies have to be struck in specific areas for them to take damage

-Chozo build upgrades for her suit when they prophesize her forthcoming.. which they knew she was going to because every living thing was dying from phazon on that planet.. they look after her always

-And talk about "making games easier".. halo tracks the vehicle FOR YOU.. i mean wtf.. if you're in a vehicle and someone has rocket launcher you might as well press the kill me button.... and halo 'does' have a slight lockon.. to which no halo fanboy will ever admit. (which shows you have not had a lick of PC first person shooting in your lives)

Nintendo never intended Met prime series to be a quake style FPS as I've said before.. its an action adventure title that wasnt really meant to have a versus theme embedded... however I guess people complained about no multiplayer, so in echoes they have it

I'm not even gonna argue systems with anyone... But Super Nintendo is, and shall remain, the best system to date. Not for graphics, graphics don't mean crap. It's all about the games, and Super Mario RPG beats Halo into dust.

And Metroid has exactly the same strategies involved when faced with multiple enemies. That couples with special locations in which to hit some and special weapons that need to be used. Whereas someone can basically get through Halo by whipping out some guns and blasting everyone in sight.

And no, Samus beats Chief because of superior weapons and armor.

SNES? No way dude. The NES is the best. Super Mario Bros 1, 2, and 3 and the first Legend of Zelda games. You can't beat the NES.

Ok, I'll concede to that opinion. I'm still a fan of the Super version, but whatevah. Both are light years beyond X-Box. 😄

Can we stop bashing the Halo books? The only source I've ever been able to find of Samus being 'trained' by the Chozo since the age of 6 comes from a manga, not a game.

Yes, they do glorify him - they kind of have to. There are no 'rules' or 'health bars' in the book.

I'd just suggest people who want to use the book give an actual example of what the Chief has done, rather than simply make a vague statement like 'oh, he has reflexes at 0.000000050 nanoseconds on the dot'.

For instance, I remember the Chief deflecting a missile. It took a good moment of standing there waiting for it (therefore seeing it coming for a good few seconds), letting Cortana (who is a computer) compute things to the very decimal needed to not screw up, and then do things exactly right to redirect the missile's path with his arm.

That's impressive, but it took a lot of 'prep-time', as it's said in the comic forums. As far as I can remember, the Chief never dodged a laser beam off-handedly.

I've said it before: Samus wins because she has the better arsenal. There's no way around it.

Some people think that the story to halo1/2 are MCs only missions, hes gone on several other attacks and raids on the covenant, there too long winded to explain but they were without his suit and cortana. As I tried to tell you before but you ignored with "no hes screwed without his suit".

Satsujin.... your talking about a feature they put in for multiplayer. Halo1 didn't have lock on.. halo2 does cause people would be near unkillable in vehicles on multiplayer. also its not as easy as "instant kill" banshees can roll to avoid the missiles... tanks take 2 missiles. Ive seen people miss them all the time... and skilled drivers will often hide round the side of building when they see the rocket guy... yes halo has a slight auto-aim... but as the game designers say, its for our fun as they found the game more enjoyable with it on when they were testing it...... PC games are much easier with a point and click, and I'm a regular to pc shooters, I'll have you know I own CS, UT, Doom3.. its not like i don't know a auto-aim when i see one. but hey at least its not a auto lock like SA.

I think you would of noticed there have been several new faces come along round here. If someone was Voting MC don't you think they would of voted him into the lead??? I don't think anyone here would be sad enough to do that... Is it one of your contingency plans should MC take the lead...

MP isn't that hard a game at all.... you talk of strategies... wheres the strategies in MP she opens a door and shoots the inside scans a item and goes to the next room.... some where she might have to turn into a ball... Its not exactly taxing stuff... Try playing Halo on its hardest setting, there you have to think. The reason anyone can run in and shoot on halo is cause your the chief... Bread to kill them so its not hard to do it... If anyone could kill them that easy explain why the marines have such a hard time doing it.

Said before, will end up saying it again...
The books give a clearer picture as to who chief is, and why he can do what he can do. With out the books you could ask. Why doesn't everyone have a spartan suit? what happened to the other Spartans? Why did they know where halo was? Why has MC got cortana? What was MC original mission?
All questions that spawn from the game are answered in the books..
You would think that if they are upgrading his reflexes why don't they seem faster in the game? if hes strong why doesn't he punch the walls down? Why are the marines in the game soo inept that they fail to do anything but get in your way and shout crap in your ear all the time?

but master chief cant dodge samus beams, samus light beam must be the same speed as light, master chief would get hit several times if he tries to avoid samus beams,and samus is a lot more advanced than mc , samus armor is probaly the only one that can literally evolve ,her armor is like other person helping her.MC will have to face one of the most dangerous combinations of all games.Samus is as skilled than mc , and just like mc she fight in wars since she was6 years old.Her armor is a lot more durable,and she can fight well hand-to-hand as shown in SSBM,she is literally an army.

lets check the facts samus has been in the gaming industry and alien killing industry for nearly thirty years and halo about four

time is not a factor, but i agree that samus would win.

As someone said before, SA beams are not the speed of light... look back some pages for the reason.... MC armor changes all the time... its on its 6 version already. no doubt for the 3rd game it will be on its 7 version. shes not as skilled as MC, as we have talked about MC is miles more clever then her and has "lighting reactions" hes Much stronger then her as well. LOL SSBM shouldn't really be included... Mario can survive her charge beam in that game... and captain falco can punch her out the ring easy... MC is about 1000 times stronger then him.... Other then that game she never uses any real melee attacks....

Who ever came out with that rubbish about there being more Metroid games then Halo, therefore SA can beat MC, should really go back to school. Other wise with our logic; the following people could kill SA
