There's more than 5 episodes dude. You clearly have not seen the original Marshmallow madness. Also, there's a game called Madness Interactive that I play all the time.
Besides, anyone can be a hardcore fan of anything, no matter how little of it there is. Example: Are you familiar with the TV series Firefly? I believe it only had about 17 episodes before it was cancelled and there's a large amount of hardcore fans of the series.
Also, the clown hacks. That cheating son of a *****. The Protagonist would have ripped him apart had he not cheated death. The clown never loses. Besides, the Protagonist has come back plenty of times before.

MP isn't that hard a game at all.... you talk of strategies... wheres the strategies in MP she opens a door and shoots the inside scans a item and goes to the next room.... some where she might have to turn into a ball... .. Try playing Halo on its hardest setting, there you have to think. The reason anyone can run in and shoot on halo is cause your the chief... ... If anyone could kill them that easy explain why the marines have such a hard time doing it.

as for the marines... when you have someone on your team that dishes out corny one liners.. your first clue should be that they, infact... suck.. however.. the real reason we both know... is that the game is supposed to have terrible Ally AI so that you feel like the big loner... the diff between metroid and halo is that samus is always alone.. they never pretend to give her backup

The fact is Halo2 on its hardest setting is much harder then MP on hardest setting... theres loads of games harder on the other setting, but we are not discusing those.
The bible tells us that marines get own3d by covenant. MC is the only one who really kills them. they just there to give you the feeling of a war going on. Not just MC vs the covenant.
If you look in the IGN 100 best games chart Halo got higher then Metroid Prime. therefore Halo>metroid prime.

Well.. they are again 2 different types of games.. prime is geared towards 'single player' people.. while halo appeals to both single and multiplayer, thus giving it a boost in replay value.. its clearly based on amount of sales, which is based on friends recommending games to other friends..

give metroid online capability, some character customization... and a few multiplayer modes with at least 12 different types of weapons and arenas, and I'm sure it would be on par with halo's sales.. its all about 'after-game content'.. you know.. the "I beat the single player.. what now?" question.. if there is no after, then there wont be many people sticking around.. metroid is a great single player experience, but that is all it is.. I cant say the same for halo's single player.. but the multiplayer is very fun

Well, I guess the majority of videogame publications is wrong then, considering Metriod Prime is rated the 3rd best game of all time. While Halo is rated 6th. Halo 2 is rated 10th.
So, I guess Metriod Prime is that good.

no I like the game I'm just fed up with comments that its better then halo... Satsujin already said he doesn't care what other websites said about the MC and SA battle...though maybe when he saw many people rate halo higher than metroid, he might get the picture. IGN gave it higher then metroid prime, and I believe thats compiled by gamers not magazines...
Metroid has been out of ages and it still doesn't have the fan advantage over halo. Don't get me wrong theres loads of fans of metroid but you would of though a series with that many games would have more fans then halo.
I'm not at all new to games... I own loads of old consoles... first game I ever played was on a C64. I just don't talk about my great "heritage" as theres no point discussing games so dated no one would of even heard of them.

Gamespy gave halo2 game of the year, Over HL2, MPE, GTA SA, Ninja G and burnout3. All good games.
