I think you mean rapping 😉

yes 🙂

I enjoyed the movie greatly... I kinda wish I had seen it first and then read the comics though instead of the other way around... there was a lot that messed with me... but by the end I gave in and enjoyed the changes... the mix up between the Bailey and Parliament messed with me the most but at the end when I saw it all work out I thought it was perfectly done.

I loved that the little Bollocks Girl had a big role... I loved her in the books!

Only thing I didn't like was kinda at the beginning with Evey at work at the Mouth and all... that part seemed greatly rushed to me, like they squeezed 4 books into one 5 minute span.... but it was a very minor dislike for me, still loved the film.

And they really should have either dropped the "Finger" mentions or named the rest of the departments properly... it kinda made no sense if you didn't know why they were called the "Finger Men"... but once again a very minor detail....

Overall it was brilliantly done.... I cried three times... especially during the reading of Valerie's autobiography... god I loved her!

Anyway I fear I've written too much.. please forgive me, I'm just so excited I finally saw it today!

Cheerio!

i noticed something weird when i saw V a second time you know when V isnt wering hte cape and hat when he is in the SHadow Gallery. That sirt looks awfuly like Neos in Matrix Reloded and Revouluions just without the long part dose anyone agree

Kinda does... I agree...

Then again Joel Silver only has one true pride and joy and we all know what that is... I mean Dark Castle failed because of his one true love of the Matrix, LOL!

And in V for Vendetta... the ending fight sequence... the "bullet time" like moves with the knives, I found that very cheesy in a way, I mean we get it... you made the Matrix.. now move on! 😛

your rite

I liked the last fight. 😛

Oh the last fight was great.. awesome!

Just that one thing with the knives bugged me a bit, other than that it was beautiful!

It seems that V and Neo stand under the same archway...

Wow... that is uncanny... lol... they really need to be more original, don't they?

Just saw the movie and LOVED it, probably going to see it again. Never read the book, but it was a breath of fresh air. Nice to see it shown that blowing up buildings doesn't mean you "hate freedom."

This could be a fun new game. 🙄

Spoiler:
There is a shot from the end of the prison scene which pretty much matches Agent Smith talkin through the peephole at the beginning of Reloaded.

Spoiler tags for those who havent seen/read and may put 2 and 2 together. 😛

They did write V, b4 they did the Matrix films..... inspiration ya-think???

AMEN to the Matrix part. I hate seening movies by people who have the same simularities to their past. GIVE ME SOMETHING NEW!!

I wasnt into the slow motion shit in the last fight. I need speed!

It would of been better if they didnt have that damn Sloooow Moootion Moooaning crap. 😬

I agree. V's skills were most impressive at full speed. Really no reason for the slo-mo other than to remind us who did the Matrix

I didnt like the Matrix films that much, lol. So, I'm just like "okay.... yeah, cool"

I liked the the 1st Matrix, lol. It was my 1st 'R' rated movie to see in theaters....

that belly button part, scared the hell out of me too, (i was very young)

I dont think I've seen it since then... I hope it comes on TV... on a channel that doesnt CENSOR crap 🙄

Yeah, same here... saw the first one and thought it was a nice and cool original idea... now everything they make seems to be an extension of it... and that makes me sad.

🙁

Yeah, because the only movie that should ever use slow motion, ever, is the Matrix. Any other movie that uses slow motion is merely trying to copy what was done with the Matrix. That's EXACTLY it.

(NOTE: I know it was made by the Wachowski brothers, but the point remains the same. This movie, in no way, felt like The Matrix movies did)

Oh wait, no, no it's not. Slow motion has been used in LOTS of movies for lots of different scenes. It was hardly "bullet time," as he didn't dodge any bullets or anything, it merely slowed it down so you could actually SEE it. If it had been played at full speed, that sequence would have been over in thirty seconds, and you probably wouldn't have seen anything that V did.

Furthermore, yes, both characters were under archways at one point or another. ... What's your point? You seem to be just searching for something to complain about. I mean, look! The villians in the movie used GUNS! The villians in the Matrix used guns! Why can't those Wachowski brothers do anything original, huh? Come to think of it... Indiana Jones had guns! They're just stealing from Steven Spielberg!
And look, they didn't even come up with the whole "archway" picture. They stole it from this guy!

My point: Quit just searching for small, minimal, and meaningless similarities between the two that you can use to complain about.

Anyway, I was thoroughly impressed with the movie, and I think it's the best movie of 2006 at the moment. I thought it was very well done, stayed more true to the comics then a lot of comic book movies, and did a good job with the story, as well. It's selling point wasn't "look, two hours of non-stop meaningless violence," it actually had more story to it than anything.

No, no, no... it was "bullet time" without the bullets... there were the little waves in the air and everything.... they just replaced it with blades instead of bullets... and they could have slowed the sequence down and left out the damn waves in the air and had it be good... they just can't give up their damn Matrix tricks is the point!

*shakes fist at them all*
