No, you just don't want to beleive because you think life should revolve around you, like when people beleived the sun revolved around the earthmy life revolves around me, the person who says his/hers life doesnt revolve around oneself is a liar.
Just dont wanna believe?, dont need to believe at least in a fairy tale god. I have beeter things to do with my time than devote one second to a so called divine being.
it was the vatican(head of the chrisitan church at that time except for the orthedox christians) who said the sun moved around the earth, those who dared to say otherwise was label heretics, as Nicolas Copernicus was.
oh and the man who proved the world was round was a christian.both the greek and even the Vikings believed the earth to be round (a sphere). The man who as you say proved the world was round (Colombus) did so to prove it to those still influenced by the view the Vatican had on things.

Not because of what it said in the bible and they certainly werent the only ones.
Oh really?
Joshua 10:12-13Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel:
"O sun, stand still at Gibeon, and O moon, in the valley of Aijalon."
So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies.
According to Joshua, the sun and moon revolve around the earth.

Well I see that you interpret it as such.
If Joshua believed that the earth revolves around the sun, he would have commanded the earth to remain still. Commanding the sun to stop would not be much of a feat to one who knows that the sun is stationary and it is the earth that is in motion.

You are incorrect. The problem lies in your drawing conclusions from things that are not there. Joshua never said that the sun revolved around the earth, you are simply pulling that conclusion from whence that is not. What he was describing however was that the sun stood still in the sky. Even today we describe the sun rising and setting.

A person who believes that the earth revolves around the sun would command, "O earth stand still" should he want to prevent the sun from setting until his people could avenge themselves of their enemies.
If Joshua was of the belief that the earth revolves around the sun, why would he command the sun, a stationary body, to remain stationary?
Because he actually believes that the sun revolves around the earth.

The Sun does stand still - the only thing causing day and night is the Earth revolving around the sun. You can't command the Sun to stand still when it's already standing still. Joshua maybe did not explicitly say that the Sun revolves around the Earth, but he implied it by commanding it to stand still, as it appears to humans that the Sun is indeed revolving around the Earth, so by getting the sun to stand still it would remain day-time/night-time only if it revolved around earth.

There is no phrase in Hebrew to describe what you are suggesting. Like ive previously stated, what is really happening when the sun is "rising or setting". Its not literally moving and yet even today we describe it as what we see. That is a feeble argument attempt.

Do you have a different argument than Adam Poe because if so, whenever you are ready.
