Spielberg is involved, ergo it will be good.

Just because Spielberg is involved in a movie does not, by any means, mean that it will be good. That's a generalization, if you ask me.

There's not a lot of bad stuff from him though, maybe as producer, but not as director.

Yea just stick to being the producer, But speaking of the script he did write some of the script for Last Crusade along with 2 other people and that turned out good.

But for the most part, it's true.

I heard a rumor that if you look at the bottom left side of the movie screen during one particular scene, you can see several E.T.'s.

Yes and he had Kasdan and others fine tune his shoddy workmanship for him. Put it how you want it, based on his recent record alone I think I am justified in my opinion.

Story is one thing, script is another. But I am confident about David Koepp.

Ive felt that way about Speilberg since A.I.

He produced Transformers and gave Bay the job of directing it.

'Nuff said.

And yet, Spielberg's films SINCE A.I were outstanding. So... nuff said.

Have to admit, when I first heard about this, I was "ugh, way to ruin a franchise". I felt the three movies were great (2 be so-so) and they should have left that dog sleeping.

Seeing the trailer though, I got excited, Ford can pull it off, again.

As far as I know there hasn't been a thread here in the Movie Discussion, but I could be wrong. There is, however, an entire Indiana Jones section, but whatever, I like having one solid topic for it in the Movie Discussion too.

Anyway, yeah the movie looks pretty good. Seems to be more light-hearted than the other 3 Indy films. I'll be seeing it; I have faith in Ford.
