Indiana Jones IV

Belloq... work on your spelling. 😈

I was saying it phonetically - based on how John Rhys Davies said it. Before Indy laughed and corrected him. 😖hifty:

Give a guy a break..his name was never printed on screen!
And its not a totally obvious spelling anyhow.
Just cause I hated being disappointed by Spielberg again in KOTCS, no need to become a spelling Nazi on me..... 😛

If there were Spelling Nazis at Indy's University, he'd kick their asses! 😂

That was Bellosh.

Work on your spelling or I'll make you watch KOTC again... many times, all night long.... Clockwork Orange style.

So when I see unconvincing CGI in movies with bad scripts I'll start to feel weak and violently sick...? 😛

Exactly! That'll save you the disappointment in the future.

I haven't read the rest of this thread, but personally, I was disappointed with Indy IV. Definitely the worst of the four films for many reasons, but what pissed me off the most were the multiple scenes that were simply too unrealistic (even for and Indy film). I'm referring to Indiana Jones hopping in that fridge and surviving a nuke, Indy/the gang driving off the cliff onto a branch, which bends like something from a cartoon, etc. I was fine with the alien plotline, but there were just too many cringe-worthy scenes/moments in this movie.

Also, the gophers. What the hell.

Edit: Also, like I mentioned in another thread, Indy didn't fire his gun once in the entire movie.

One of my friends said to me after we had just finished watching it "If this was a standalone film, it would've sucked." I pretty much agree; if not for the nostalgia factor, this movie would be worse than it was.

I have an opinion of my own. I'm not going to change it just because you think i should. I didnt like the above, but i still admire his work regardless.

Hehehe

Why do i always get a negative vibe going into the Indy and Star Wars forums anyhow? it frightens me!

so he literally stopped making good ones when the '90s started

nevermind he has his small arty projects coming up
thatll be the multi million world wide release of the Clone Wars animated series then

😂

Kershner did an awesome job though. I wish we saw more from this guy

He's old.
