1. Cate Blanchet's character is psychic (that was not that bad, but annoying)
2. They find an magnetized alien body (I was hoping it was something else)
3. Indy survives a nuclear blast (come on!)
4. John Hurt's character (that was really annoying, he's all looney throughout the movie then in the end he's fine, please!)
5. Shia's character swinging in the trees (This is no longer an Indiana Jones movie, It became George of the Jungle)
6. The killer ants (Reminded me of the scarabs in The Mummy, real original Lucas)
7. The jeep that the heros are in survive 3 waterfalls! (by this time i want to walk out)
8. Then the aliens! (George Lucas should have put killer tomatoes instead, the way things were going anything was possible!)

I was really dissappointed with Indy 4. I did like how all the characters were portrayed. I thought that Harrison Ford did a great job for being older. I hope they do another movie to erase the stain Indy 4 left behind. GEORGE LUCAS stop adding to much crap to your stories! Simple and straight to the point is always better!

I agree with everything you listed. Harrison did an OK job. He wasn't the same Indy from the other 3 movies, but he was what saved Indy 4 imo. If it wasn't for his acting I would have left the theatre.

I wouldn't even have gone. 😉

I like that.

me too!

In my opinion Indy II is still the movie to beat 🙂

im confused
i watched the movie again this time on a copy as opposed to the cinema
and whilst it still fails on many levels i kind of liked it this time round

i was the same with TPM upon the VHS release
but that didnt last long
i ****ing hate that movie now

So, what was good about it?

maybe after the build up and let down of the first showing i knew what to expect and i just enjoyed it for what it was
an average Indy flick
and after having to sit through National Treasure 2:The quest for a better hairpiece on Friday i realised it aint THAT bad
still hated the Gophers
i half expected them to shout "UTINNI! " as the rocket went by

😂

At least that would have been funny.

the last indy movie was boaring and stupid and right now i feel old seeing that i was 8 when the first movie came out and 16 during the last and now i am 35
Dr. Henry Walton Jones II is slower and older i did not like this movie at all and the whole alien was dumb

I'm far younger than 35, and I know that indy was not a frachise that needed to be applied to scrutiny. I intentionally didn't see this last abortion of Indian Jones. Remarkably enough, I had access to the 3 movies that came before it; And perhaps it should have been left there

I would advertise you not to see any more Lucas-inspired displays of grunted vaginal waste. Why ****-up Indy when you can **** up Star Wars?

Easy: Ignore the screw ups in Star Wars and embrace the Indy exclusions.

I wonder what's next though: a screw-up sequel to Howard the Duck?

The movie will focus on CGI humans in it, having Howard in it for like 20 mins. Shia Lebeouf would be the focal point as Howards neighbour across the hall.. 😛

And will totally miss the point like Tranformers and Indy 4.

In comparison to the original... it sounds like a masterpiece.

lolz

Ha! DUH! That's exactly what you do. You stop rewarding his abusive and destructive behavior with your money. No more money will be spent on the prequels or the clone wars or The Force Unleashed or any EU that takes place before A New Hope or inbetween or after the Thrawn trilogy. No money will be spent on special editions of the first three Indy films or on going to see this movie or buying the action figures or video games. Not one more dime to fund Mr. Lucas crapping all over these franchises. And if you guys want movies that we don't have to debate or excuse based out of loyalty to movies these men did 20 years ago, then stop rewarding their half-assed efforts with your money.

You're a bit of a dictatorial fellow, aren't ya?
