Racism

Christianity is messed up... I mean the original ideals are good, but people tend to misinterpret them. Take for example the crusades. The reason they wanted to kill everybody they met who wasn't Christian was because they wouldn't convert to Christianity. They believed that everyone who wouldn't become Christian would "poison" or "contaminate" the rest of the world with thier pagan-ness, therefore they had to be killed. And the worst part is, a lot of people still think that Christians are all moral people. That's about as far from the truth as you can get. Not to say that all Christians are bad either, but just like any group there are going to be some good and some bad people. I'm not any religion but if I had to choose I would be Buddhist. Buddhism is awesome!

Shit I just thought of something else to add to my little rants--Why do all the conservative assholes who run our country think Muslims are so bad?

Because we don't understand why the extremists hate us. Why should they hate us? We never did anything to them (sarcasm oozing from my voice)

it seems like most african-americans around here are racist toward white people...the would say stuff like stfu white kid or just a bunch of things towards white people and we just mind our own buisness but yea its not the whites racist aganinst blacks its the other way around

just to correct you there DR, the crusades, and certainly the first one was not about killing those who don't want to get converted.
It was about freeing the holy land and most definitly free jeruzalem
though it did turn out to be a masacre when their ally (egypt if I'm not mistaken) got to the city first and they still stormed it knowing it was theirs already

DR every group of ppl has bad and good people in them. not all buddhists are sweethearts as well

christianity isn't racist.....christianity believes that everyone i equal in the eyes of god and that all religions have some truth but only christianity has the whole truth, but theyalso beklieve that non christians can go to heaven "in my father's house thereare many rooms" because it acknowledges that religions turn out good people. and the whole thing about the good samaritan and stuff....all about equality.

There is always going to be racism...this is because we seem to believe that we all decend from different ansestors which is all wrong.

Another reasn is that in oder to identify world we stereotype...its not just some people its all of us, we are stuck with it. Unfortunately some peole take stereotype to prejudice and into Racilism 🙁
