I used to think so too but Eternity acknowledged Galactus as his equal in SS#10.

if ur saying that superman with the sword makes him a god, than thats a stupid mistake that dc made to make their greatest hero more powerful..why dont u think the sword of superman doesnt exist anymore cause they realiazed its stupid... we shouldn't be talking about supes and his sword in this thread. and who ever brought up the sword of superman in this thread is only trying to make a lame explanation of how superman can beat Full powered Galactus.

In the same issue he got it, he got rid of it actually. He decided that it wasn't time for him to do so, and sacrificed the sword, throwing it into space where only he could find it, for when he was ready. And god was pleased that Superman would readily sacrifice so much.

other than that one issue of superman with the sword, any version of superman with the sword can touch a full powered Galactus.

I'm being childish? I'm not the one who believes Superman is on par with God which he apparently isn't as others have stated why.

if thats the case spiderman can beat hulk, magneto, surfer and maybe strange, thor because he once was cosmic spiderman in a few comics.

SS#10 Eternity stated that they are equal when Galactus is at full strength,even the six freindlys are equals to Eterntiy who is their father. His Entropy killed Eternity and they where equal now what.
