I don't get what makes you lot think you are above and beyond the creators of the characters who deem the movie worthy. If they changed Spider-Man's name and powers, I could understand. They didn't. Yeah sure they gave him genetic webbing but where does Spider-Man's web come from in the comics? His forearms. Where does it come from in the movies? His forearms. The method is different, the principle is the same.

As for someone saying the graphics where bad. The day you put out anything with better graphics than that, I'll agree with you. Until you can actually do better, be quiet.

As for The Green Goblins' costume, it rocked!!

My older brother is a huge Spider-Man fan when it came to the comics. When the movie came out he was super-psyched. Did he cry about Spidey's webbing being organic? no, he loved it. Did he hate The Green Goblins costume? no, he loved. Like a true fan, he accepted those changes.

I'd just like to point out that he's not a nerd, he's actually very 'spunky.'

I never expected 100% faithfulness to the comics.I LOVE the Spider-Man movies.But they were far from perfect.The organic web shooters are one major change I could accept.Webbing was still coming from his wrists so it was cool with me.
Dunst's MJ is nothing like the comics MJ.Characterwise I mean.She is a glorified Gwen Stacy.A drama queen in red hair who calls Peter tiger once in each movie and moans at him the rest of the time.That is NOT the MJ from the comics.

yeah all those points are why the movies are so horrible.Yeah if people ever read the 60's spiderman comic they would see that MARY JANE wasnt anything at all like the mj from the comics that her character was MUCH more like gwen stacy which is inexcusable.yeah good for her brother if he can accept such a lame ass costume that looks like an alien from outer space

ya, i didnt like the goblin costume that much, it woulda been ok if he slapped on a dark cloak hoody or somethin like the alex ross goblin.

first of all... i hated the gg costume... he looked like an action figure...a cheap one imo...

i had my problems with the movies...

mary jane makes my skin crawl... but thats cos i aint the biggest fan of dunst... though i agree with mr. parker that she was almost gwen like...

i thought the second movie could have done with more action, more spidey being a genius n all... not so much mushy shit...

the movies did have some good points though...

the performance of defoe as osborn was great without the suit imo...

molinas doc ock was different from the comics, but had more depth and i felt more actual presence... besides you cant always have insane enemies, it gets tired after a while... u need enemies with a personality...

simmons nailed jameson... he was flawless imo...

maguire... he personified peter imo... he brought the qualities that make us identify with peter to the screen so well imo...

harris as aunt may... nothing wrong with her...

franco... i'm in two minds... sometimes good... sometimes bad imo...

the effects were done so well... i thought the cg was great (and im unvelievably picky when it comes to cg)

after all that do you think organic web shooters are a big deal... not to me...

i know the movies have bad points, but imo the good outweigh the bad...

I don't see what's wrong with the Goblins costume looking like a Power Ranger, The Power Rangers rocked! Even though they don't. Because if you remember correctly, the Power Ranger's costumes were made of nylon, Gobby's was armour.

So you can say "Oh she acted like Gwen and not MJ" but the bottom line is, she was acting out MJ as well as she could. As well as someone who doesn't read comic books, could.

If it was a calendar the appearance would be a deciding factor but at the end of it all, I judge on how the part is acted. Michael Clarke Duncan has a completely different skin colour to Kingpin, but he was the best thing about the "Daredevil" movie because he acted the part well.

Bakerboys, sig claims that the "Spider-Man" movies are some of the worst evils on Earth. Unless he's being sarcastic, I would label that as being anal. I would label it complaining about major things in the movie, or minor things for that matter.

I don't feel dumb for liking it at all. I'm just sick of people like Mr.Parker, Bakerboy and you poking fun at people for expressing their opposite view of the movies. The reasons these guys have for disliking it are pathetic. Ok yes, I was a bit unsure when I heard he was gonna have genetic webbing but to be perfectly honest, you have to put things in perspective. Supposing they gave him genetic webbing and told NOBODY about it. The whole movie, they never showed him changing web cartridges and never showed any web coming from his actual arm. You wouldn't be sitting here complaining about the webbing then I bet. It's just the fact that they are saying it's genetic. It must be, because there really is absolutely nothing wrong with the webbing or the way he uses it. If it looked like paper and completely false, yes, ***** and moan. But when it looks as good as it does, why do you write the movie off purely because of where it comes out of?
