Indeed. Dunno if the news I found was accurate, but it was RUMORED that Mario Galaxie's pre-orders are around 400,000. Back in MAY the amount of Halo 3 pre-orders passed 4 MILLION.

Mario Galaxy has a lot less preorders because you've only been able to order it for about the past two months. Halo 3 has been taking preorders for at least the past year. So you can't compare.

And the 4 million number is false.

I'd say the number is about 1.5 million orders, around there. Probably less.

And that's just me calculating going off the number of orders my store has as average (we're actually one of the top ones right now), and including all stores in the world, not just the US.
