Halo 3

The RPG element is brilliantly executed, I think.

lol, there's no mount, though.

Yeah, the RPG elements make the experience completely addicting.

It's similiar to Rainbow Six Vegas MP, but perks and weapon upgrades are pretty awesome.

As bad as the library was in Halo: CE; Halo 3's Cortana level is even worse.

As for Halo's campaign...it has incredible levels...and then has terrible levels IMO. I loved playing through Sierra 117, and the Covenant/Ark levels were incredible halo fun...but then Cortana exists to drop down the excitement...though I must say there is more good than bad to the campaign IMO.

Having decided giving Halo 3 a shot I started looking for a summary of Halo and Halo 2, just to get the story straight, and I found this: http://www.breakitdownblog.com/halo-story-so-far/

Thought maybe it could be of interest to someone else too.

I could tell you the story of all 3 Halo games.

That would be reading, that is video with story and cutscenes etc.

Reading unlocks the mind, literary novels can be far more exciting then movies it also keeps your mind alert and helps boost your concentration and knowledge.

Not if it is something I couldn't bother to play through in the first place, for this a movie is more then enough.

Fair enough, I was just saying you could have read, no need to get agitated.

Agitated? How could any of that be interpreted as being agitated?

Your being snappy.

I like pretty much all of the levels of the campaign, I admit, and I hate to, that Cortana is very...very bad. The only partially saving element I found was the 3 (maybe 2) flamethrowers I found, they are much fun to use.

Cortana is one of the worst levels I've encountered in a Triple A title. I still have no idea how that level got past Quality Control, it was terrible, almost game breakingly bad.

Why does everyone think that Cortana is such a terrible level? I don't think its the best one in the game, mainly because I'd rather have bigger more open feeling levels then going through cave like areas but its not THAT bad. Comparing it to the library or guilty spark in the original Halo is a joke... it beats them by a mile

It's the library with pulsating walls. It's just as repetitive, boring, lazy and cheap.

And Guilty Spark is a solid level.

Yeah, who said Guilty Spark was bad??

Well, you mentioned it with Library, and said that Cortana is better, which kinda implies to me that it's bad.

Not him.........Spartan005 did.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Oh, yes.

I mentioned nothing of the sort.
