lolIm just saying, in Halo 2's maps, and in these screens, there is nothing going on in the worlds.
Smoke in the distance, ships overhead, just throw in some things to make it feeel like the middle of a massive war.
Don't forget how early it is.
I can remember when GameInformer did an article on Halo 2, probably about a year before it was realeased. I thought, "This doesn't look that much better than Halo 1." And obviously, 2 looks much better than 1. 😛
A lot of this stuff is probably placeholder (like they've said on their blog/update).
EDIT: Damn, look at the Bungie worker that came down on those guys in the comments section. 😂

It's multiplayer, buddy. It's not really supposed to have anything going on.

AstroFan's right, Davey. Why skimp back on graphics? And if someone was stupid enough to gawk at graphics in a multiplayer game, they deserve to die everytime.
I know, and I agree with the fact that graphics are a big factor especially since this is a 360 game and the last in the series. What Astro suggested was that Bungie go above and beyond the call of duty simply to add little things to multiplayer maps that I think is unnecessary. They want things to look good, of course, but not to the point where it will be distracting nor overlooked. Throwing two ships above the map exchanging shots is going to be too distracting, while minor things like smoke and debris is hardly going to be noticed.

While it's nice to have pretty graphics..isn't gameplay the most important thing to have in this game? If it has good gameplay and a high replay value..who really gives a shit about graphics?
