Halo 3

Bungie has 2 different teams working on Campaign and Multiplayer. So the campaign is not getting compromised for multiplayer.

Anyone checked IGN's impressions of the beta? I can't wait!

Was thinking about getting the beta but wasn't wasting 60 bucks on a game I'm not even going to play. guess i'll have to wait. btw is there a release date yet?

The beta is set to be released on May 16. As for the actual game it's not known. There are rumors that microsoft may be planning a september release, but we don't know for sure.

An online shop that I use regulary is saying that it will be released 16/11/07 though I'm unsure how true that is.

Though the fact remains is that it will be out before the end of the year.

No offense dude, but the online shop is bullshitting. Although there's a great chance for the game to be released on November(since Halo:CE and Halo 2 were released that same month) there has not been a confirmed release date.

I was watching some of the vides.

Man, the graphics seem really bad at this point, they'd best improve.

As it is, the game looks like Halo 2 in High Definition, nothing more.

I understand the concern about the graphics, but given I'm a halo lunatic all I care about is the gameplay. **** GOW's graphics did not stop me from coming back to Halo 2. 'Nuff Said.

Well, even the gameplay looks identical. Strafe in circles, shoot, hope more of your shots register than his, etc.

I, myself was concerned about the graphics but when I saw Mr Jukes video I have to say I was very impressed.

What did you expect? Halo: Gears of War Evolved?

Halo 2 didn't change much from Halo: Combat Evolved. It just improved in some areas. They are doing the same in this instance. Improving on Halo 2's gameplay.

Besides they have kept the Pistol secret. Who knows if the Pistol is once again at full scoped glory. That is bound to make things really interesting for the Battle Rifle and Assault Rifle.

The only people that have any idea of a release date yet are BUNGIE. Do not trust any other source.

With the new horsepower of the 360 they should be able to change quite a bit. They shouldn't just make Halo 2.2. The battlefield sizes, graphics, and gameplay could all be substantially upgraded, and they don't seem to be for some reason.

Well, it is still just the beta right? So, they still got time. And they have said in Bungie updates that the scale and overall size of battles in the Halo 3 campaign has dramatically increased, so you shouldn't be too worried.

I think BF was referring to multi-play as well

In my personal opinion... they need to keep paying homage to the first halo, because that had the best desolate structures for their multiplayer maps..that was when plasma stunned too 🙁

The game hasnt been finished yet and your all judging a BETA??? Dont expect to be blown out of the water yet I would save faith for when it comes out which is why I will not be part of the test.
