whast he suing them for?
BBC News reports that Snipes contends that the third film was merely a setup for a spin-off series and that the director (Goyer), screenplay and supporting cast (Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel) were all forced on him – in violation of his contract.
The lawsuit, which was filed on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, also contends that New Line owes Snipes $3.6 million of the $13 million he was supposed to get up front for making the vampire flick.
Also, I seriously doubt Wesley Snipes is contractually obligated to appear in the upcoming Blade television film. These would have to be two different contracts, for one a contract for Blade 4 release would have mentioned someting about Wesley being payed in the millions for another film. Also if he were to star in this television film that would mean that he would also most certainly be obligated to appear regularly in the TV series as well which would be another completely different contract. Even if somehow they are able to bypass all of these elements Wesley would still be able to make a stand in court if he so desired not to appear in the film/TV series.
So true,
Since it is rather obvious now that Snipes won't be returning to play his title role of Blade in the TV film I'll start throwing out a few names. The last thing I want is someone replacing Snipes, but I think Michael Jai White who played Spawn in the feature film would be a great secondary choice to play Blade in the TV film and series.

If Michael Jai White were cast as Blade it would be a weird transition, but the studios don't think the same way we do, so we won't even get that much. Likely we will get some skinny B-Actor who is nothing like the character and will only drag Blade's name further into the dirt.
as much as i hate to say it, that will probably happen. 🙁
if they do make a blade for withc i hope they dont and if they do i want the guy that did balde 2 to do it and i wonder who the bad guy is gonna be and i hate dracula in blade trinity dracula wiuld not say time to die mother ****er come on dracula would never say that and he loocked like a *** in human form only in vampire from did he rule

I like that idea, actually. His voice is good for the character. He sounds alot like the Blade in the 90's Spider-man cartoon.
