On Monday, I'll replace it with a "Terminator" forum redirect, That way, of the people who participated and voted in your favor, on your poll, we'll see who actually frequents it. You're absolutely right. I hate the "Terminator" movies, the forums, and I am totally against them.

1) I'm not arguing it, I'm trying to get across to everyone else that now isn't the time for the forums to get any preferential treatment. Like I said, improve the overall functionability of the section THEN promote it, so that when people visit, they will want to stay.
2) The votes are irrelevant if the voters don't visit the forums. If they took the time to take the poll, they can take the time to find the section and subsequently frequent it. There are apparently casuals that placed a vote for the sake of doing so, who will never step foot in those forums. Ask Raz to get the usernames of those who voted, then compare it to their activity in the Terminator forums.
3) I don't think I'm "good' or any better than anyone else. You're horribly mistaken, like everyone else here, thinking I am against the forums when in fact I'm the only person of authority that has expressed incredible INTEREST in them, going as far as to promote them in one of the busiest movie related sections of the entire community. Besides, I'm not picking on you, I'm trying to prove that you're all wrong in your assumptions.
It seems very en vogue to take what I say out of context. Story of my life, though.

Well it doesn't help that the poll got moved into here from the OT forum. And I still say that half the problems will be solved BY moving the forum, which is the point of my whole arguement here.
I was modding the QT forum and felt it belonged right along side the terminator forum because of lack of interest. a sub forum is what it should be and doesn't belong on the front page.
Our arguement is that the very reason it has a lack of traffic is because its shunned away in the sub-topic forums. Its been proven that many had no idea it even existed as a consequence.
You cant judge the state of the forum by the numbers in there right now, with a bit of decent exposure, the numbers will come !

the fact of the matter is that the terminator movies have had a huge effect on action films since the 80s. the fact is that its in the miscellaneous section is the real problem most of us have. most forums on this site could do with some cleaning up, there's no dispute about that. but having to go into the miscellaneous section to find TWO movie forums speaks of bad organisation.

Cinema you might consider it all to be perfectly justified and not an insult. No matter how much you twist and try to explain it all, bottom line is that calling me ann "ass-sore" and calling me someone like "Mr. O' Reilly" is offensive and many people would agree. Sugar-coating everything won't suddenly make it alright to insult me and call me names. You might be able to do this to other people without any objections, but it doesn't make it right.

If you can sit there and tell me that I haven't upset you, by no fault of my own, might I add, then I'll retract it. And if people are offended by me saying someone's spinning my words, which is self-evident, I'd seriously suggest they commit themselves, as they're experiencing paranoid delusions.

Well, I wasn't even referring to you in particular. I'm passionate about the forum, too, but I am also realistic, and that's something you can't lose sight of. There are variables, of which are ultimately going to either work FOR you or AGAINST you. Keep them in mind, and don't let your passion eclipse your sense of reality. We all have different ways of expressing how we feel. I'm a realist, and things just HAVE to be done before considering a move for the forums.
I've been as respectful as I know to be! I've offered my services, my time, my dedication, and the majority of you are failing to realize that, as I said before MAJOR changes would need to be made, and Raz is going to tell you the SAME EXACT THING. I know it needs better exposure to be successful, but it has to be FIT to be promoted before it can even THINK about getting said upgrade. You know what I mean. We all want what's best for the forums. I myself am not "ass-sore", and we need to drop the term because it's getting as played out as "fanfare". I take opposition in stride, I'm used to it. I've been having ideas shot down for years on various sites, but I still was open to constructuve criticism, and refrained from looking to make a negative out of it.
At first, I did disagree that a bigger and better forum wasn't necessary. But, as a Sci Fi fanatic, I'm going to lend a hand, naturally, since it won't actually harm anything or anyone. I'm a perfectionist, and I want things to be at maximum operability before being presented.

We're shorthanded. Trust me, I've put a few offers on the table, but Raz is away at this time.
..and PR, my friend, if I myself can get my hands on the forum, get threads merged, closed , on track, and organized, I'll keep good on the promotion in the MDF. It's the most I can do, aside from literally PM'ing everyone and asking them to swing by the forums.
I got the Blade subforum up and running without incedent, and I have faith that good things will come to us Terminator fans, as long as we exercise some patience, and have a quality forum to present. I can only do so much, though.

I may not have taken an interest in the Terminator forum to begin with but once I heard that people were being taunted, insulted and offended by the Mods of KMC I had to step in.
Some of the people here are my friends and I have every right as a member and an extremely active member at that to voice my opinion.
I'm a moderator and partial administrator in several other communities on the Net and I find it horrible that the Moderators on this board will misuse the powers and influence given to them by the Administration against their members.
Items such as this should NEVER be brough into the public eye, this is what creates problems and grief for innocents who had every right to defend a topic that they were obviously enjoying.
I'm completely shocked and ashamed of you.
