You don't need to convince me it's in production. I know it is, as "production" can mean as little as a script was written. Use less offensive words? LOL. Was asking someone to be patient, offensive? I don't believe I have said anything that would offend anyone here.
I've been through the actual Terminator forums, and there's a lot of topic banter, topics for Terminator signatures (which we have a forum for), and a handful of actual solid topics, with little participation.
Those same people that pledged their support apparently aren't actually using the forums. If I saw 28 different people in those forums, maybe then I'd see a reason to feature the movie. Just not now.
I'm reconsidering pledging my support for the forums also, having witnessed first hand exactly how messy they were. I'm not comfortable promoting said forums in their state. There are just a lot of threads that have veered off topic, no set moderation, no self governing, and you guys even mock the lack of moderators, and that's the nail in the coffin, IMO.

well IMO they should have a mod, maybe with your new mod-like powers you should go to Raz and offer to be the mod of that forum, or if you don't have the time (even though you spend alot of time here arguing with TheFilmProphet) ask some one else to Mod it, I'm sure TheFilmProphet would jump to the offer, then that forum might get organized, every one loves the Off Topic Forum, yet every one makes pointless random threads in it, so IMO let TheFilmProphet be Mod of The Terminator Forum, or can't you handle a little competition?

1) "Mod-like"? I'm a moderator, plain and simple, and while the "Other Movie Forums" aren't in my jurisidiction, I've offered my services.
2) TFP and I don't argue, we debate. There's a distinct difference, and the input that we debate, each of us representing our side of the arguement, will unquestionable impact the final decision. I have absolutely nothing again TheFilmProphet, I'm voicing my opinion per my right, given this is a suggestion forum.
3) I'm not familiar with TFP's activity on KMC, muchless his reputation. Raz is currently recruiting moderators for various sections of the forum, and I have no idea if TFP is in consideration. That said, a person who is part of the problem would exactly make a likely candidate to carry out the solution. I don't mind competition, and I don't view him as such, to be frank.

If there was an actual moderator moderating the Terminator forum then it be much more organized and the proper topics and threads would be created and discussed.

Well since you are not familiar with my activity and reputation all I can say is that I do spread myself around here and that I do have a respectable reputation. I am not going to get too far ahead of myself here, but it would be interesting if I were indeed in some type of consideration.

Well if you remember CA you came in and called this a "fanfare". Now how mature would it sound for a moderator to come into a thread about a particular film that is being discussed and then call what the poeple are doing there a "fanfare"?
Second maybe if there was an actual moderator moderating the Terminator forum then it be much more organized and the proper topics and threads would be created. You can't seriously expect all 29 people who voted to post there if some of them can't even find the forum.

the simple reason is, the traffic is so little that i didnt even know there was a terminator forum till proph told me... most people are the same.
and cine, jaws is done and dusted, and as much as i adore aliens (i do seriously), number 5 is a long way off. terminator 4 on the other hand is on its way.

Look, the traffic issue, I've offered to help with, but not until we maximize the potential of the forums. Backfire was kind enough to cooperate in getting a few things movied, closed, and put back on topic. I'm doing everything in my power to get a moderator for that section, also.
"Fanfare", loosely interpreted, means a sudden and enormous outpouring of support, which you guys have displayed. It's not some negative connotation, it's an accurate description, as your efforts are borderline guerilla, lol. TFP, you're a well adjusted poster, and you seem to be the leader of this pack, so set an example, ya know? Push your friends to make the forum a place everyone would want to visit.
There's no telling when the forums will get renovated, but to optimize them, you gotta undertake some self governing. Like I said, I'm all for promoting them, the time just has to be right.

and just to clear things up for u cine, "fanfare" is an insult to my intelligence. i have loved terminator since i saw the first one as a child and will continue to love it. it isn't some sort of fad, at least not in my eyes.
i will say it again, i didnt even know there was a terminator forum until proph told me, i was actually about to suggest one when he mentioned it to me.
Professionally speaking, I don't see TFP as competition when it comes to a moderating position. I know nothing of his potential, his background, how he's recieved here. Not having anything on which to base any assumption, I can't view him as competition. Sorry you're seeing it as a negative.
There's also no need to get upset over a stupid term people are taking out of context. Before TPM, the "Terminator" boards went neglected. By definition of fanfare, there was a massive, sudden outpouring of support for the forums to recieve a facelift.
Again, sorry you guys are misinterpreting what I consider to be pretty cut and dry.
