Lol, Fair enough, Cairn. As long as you could tell from the trailer that it was garbage.. 😛

The last time I laughed at Stiller was, There's Something About Mary.

And that's 15 years ago!!!!

NOW for a special movie, Beasts Of The Southern Wild.
Sad, beautiful imagery. Poignant yet feel good.

Broke my toe middle of the night Wednesday - had surgery Tuesday. Lotsa lotsa pain meds.

So, although I'm sure I've been watching a lot of of movies, but I don't remember a single thing about them...

Well, I watched Neil Marshall's Centurion (2010) last night, but my netflick copy was messed up, so I haven't seen the last 30 minutes or so yet. But I'm definitely getting a replacement for it. It's got Michael Fassbender, the guy who plays The Governor on The Walking Dead, and Dominic West (who doesn't suck quite as bad in it). Stylistically it's nothing special at all, but it's violent and kind of a fun little action/adventure story set during the Roman Empire. I kind of wonder how accurate to history it is, but it's pretty cool. I haven't been extremely impressed with Neil Marshall's work before this, but some decent cinematography and a fun adventure make this my favorite so far.

I finished watching this. I really, really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it's perfect, but it was damn good. The last 30 minutes or so had the best parts. Imogen Poots is my new love.

Centurion sucked as far as I'm concerned.

I prefer his Dog Soldiers movie.

What sucked about it?

I mean, I'm not typically a big fan of choppy editing as far as fight/battle scenes go, but it wasn't so bad that it ruined anything. Aside from that, the acting was great (Michael Fassbender kicked ass) and the story was just like I like it: enough to justify the action/adventure, but not overly complicated. Plus there was some good, old-fashioned subversion there at the end. Love it.

The Expendables 2.

The Sentinal (1977) horror film kinda got scared there..lol

1st episode of "From Time to Time," a BBC miniseries that takes place during bombing of England WWII. Maggie Smith places matriarch, little boy explores through time...

Quite charming. 5/5

Countess Dracula (1971)

The Philadelphia Experiment (1984)

Les Miserables (Theater)

The movie was good.
But it would've had a bigger impact if they showed Jean Valjean's past at the intro.
Ending was kinda cheesy.

The movie was way too long and I was hoping it would end soon..lol
When the bad guy threw himself in the water I started laughing..lol
The ending wtf? He finally got his family back and he just dies in the chair..eeeh. The romance with the daughter and the guy? WTF? They didn't even look at each other or did they? I couldn't see that part and they fell in love so fast..lol

Red Lights (2012).
Sigourney Weaver.. Robert De Niro

The acting was up to par, as expected of De Niro and Weaver.
Plotwise this film starts out good and by the second half goes from sugar to sh**.

6/10

The Paperboy(2012).

Everybody involved with this film needs their a** kicked at least two times.

1/10

I saw last night "The Hobbit"
