They Live is great, and it has Roddy Piper and Keith David.

They have that epic fight and then if you look up stories about the production you find out it wasn't really fake they more or less just really beat the shit out of each other.

Lmao. I tried watching the show. It was just some chick whining and making far too big a deal out of dealing with shit all teens tend to deal with. You can literally sum up the show with this clip:

My daughter is watching it and I sat in for a bit cos the show was filmed partly in Marin County and the High School in the show is the one I attended grade 9-12, but it wasn't for me. Teen angst melodrama galore.
