And are there any orders on these droids in the near future? I do realise that you are not a director of sales but I hope you will be able to provide me with this basic information, before I move onto more technological questions."

"Our largest buyers are Corporate interests. Simple specialisation of purpose- why should they expend resources to construct things that they can instead buy from us? That's inefficient. Hence the reason the Mining and Commerce Guilds, Banking Clans, and Trade Federation buy from us. I guess they are our biggest customers; the 'Outer Regions' are a larger sales area but are really millions of smaller parts."

"I guess that makes sense. The outer rim is where those who need to escape something go. I've even had a few visits there myself, trying to escape some things in the past. I wouldn't have minded having a few droids to protect me, that is, if I did not have the force to guide me."

"All the worlds out there are fearful for their security. We provide."

Gallagher stood near the back of the group, fascinated with his surroundings. He had never seen such a place before in his life, having never left Coruscant but a few times.

However, he was unimpressed by Cirus' banter of droids and security.

Well, was there anything people wanted to do, check out, investigate, or ask Cirus, 'cos that is the vibe at this point!

I CAN wind things onwards, because I am anxious for this Episode to be done quickly, but I thought yoiu guys might want to take some opportunities.

Lorn decided to pose some more questions to Cirus: "Being the Cheif of Technology at this establisment and the Union for that matter, have you discovered any technologies that you have been able to implant into humanoids to enhance their abilities for example?"

"Certainly," says Cirus. "Bionic augmentation is one of our lines."

"Would you say that it was one of the more popular ones? And what sort of bioaugmentation service doyou offer?"

"That depends how you mean," says Cannes. "Basic bionics as part of medicine have been with us for millennia and are always popular. That's artificial limbs and the like- accidents sadly happen.

"There are other possibilities for more hi-tech uses of such technologies, but they are still develoomental, and we are uncertain of demand."

Yeah, it's the language these corporate techno-types use, Clarion. They never say 'robotic hand' when 'bionic-augmented grasping limb' could be used instead.

Seems some of these younger Jedi are into that kind of thing...

"So do they have any bioaugmented optical receptors on the market? What other 'enhancements' are available besides the basic medical ones, that are still in the development stages?"

"On the Galactic market? Not that I know of. Some worlds dedicate far more effort to this kind of thing, though. There are some worlds where such augmentation is the norm.

"In theory, the technolgoy can be extedned to chips that can improve reactions, reflexes, mental acuity... or even for emotional contro.. Limiter chips can override violent impulses to treat people with violent mental disorders, for example."

"Ahhhh that's interesting, do you manufacture such chips? And say could you alter the behaviour of an individual to create adverse affects, such as rage?"
