"With all due respect," says Cannes, "I DO keep up with such things. I am just not demonstrating them on this planet. Limiter chips are not classed as weapons- they have no offensive use. They stop people from becoming violent. If you want to see them, you will have to go somewhere where we DO have them.

"Meanwhile, I must admit to being baffled by a fusilade of questions with no explanation as to their purpose. We can get to your points far more quickly if you tell me what it is you are talking about."

I think you should remember what this place is, Lorn- you aren't at Techno-Union HQ or anything. They have hired this planet to use it to show off their latest weapons to interested buyers. So as Cannes says, if you want to see other tecnologies, you will have to go elsewhere.

(can i go elsewhere to see the other technologies? if it's indeed useful to our quest)

You'd have to fly there- time wise, not practical.

(Hmmm, I'm stuck for the moment, unless I can think of something :$, without bringing Ryamore back into question - Anyway off topic, I must get back to my Economics essay for a while.)

You can do it backwards, though- Xeth and Roan have samples of the chips that were being used.

(So could we say do these look anything like the chips that you have used in your experiments?)
