Anyway, my random crazy idea was somehow convince/trick Yago into stealing the data crystal for us...but it wouldn't work. Heh. Would be pretty damn funny, though...

It's not that you couldn't talk him into it, if you convinced him it was important. The trick is that he can't get up.

If he DID get up, he'd then nick it by simply walking into Mika's office and beating up anyone who got in his way, being rather loud about it.

You might even find a way to work all that to your advantage, but I can't help thinking it would take too long to think about, and time is short.

(GUYS! GIVE ME ADVICE! ESPECIALLY RAND, TAKUAN AND RIANNA WHO WANT TO GET UP/ARE MEANT TO BE TELLING US WHAT TO DO (or in Rianna's case, both). HELP NOW!)

If we could Mind Trick the guards into letting him past, perhaps...or somehow get them away from their posts.

Like I say, it needs more detailed thought than that- like how to deal with the consequences. It's an advanced idea and I highly recommend, for time if nothing else, that you stay simple.

However, talking of time- it is up on the library deal. Tanic and Rah are now making the handover and going up, and they are bringing neither Takuan nor Rianna. Tomorrow morning I'll make the library post.

Traditionally, windows have glass. You assume they simped on the costs here. A chill wind blows from outside.

Well, I've got no way past the guards...so I guess I'm going to have to give that a try...

Two problems then- you have no idea of the geography, and if there are security sensors on the walls, you don't know how to de-activate them if necessary.
